The Epic Adventure of "Extraction of the Big Four All @ Once" At 45 years old my journey began with the Tomasik Dental Team with a relaxed yet most detailed consultation on the state of my four wisdom teeth. After my appointment was made I received a Text reminder of same :-) . Upon my arrival at the office I was greeted with a warm smile courtesy of Allison and pen and pad waiting for my intimate details. When the forms were completed another warm smile met with me and I was escorted to "my room". Every amenity was present and the temperature was great as well. Before each procedure was done it was explain what was being done and its main objective. I was an active participant in this journey (two thumbs up) After that was completed, I was greeted almost immediately by Dr. Andrew who was kind enough to ask the pronunciation of my name and asked how I would like to be addressed. We had a very candid conversation, the pros and cons and everything in between. This was very important as I had flight plans and pressurization and extractions are not friends :-). I was very satisfied in how I was spoken with and when escorted to the reception area I truly confident enough to book the "extraction of the big 4" right away. My option from cost to sedation methods were discussed and I didnt feel pressured one way or the other. The day in question can while I did hear horror stories, I entered the room with an open mind. Again the choices made me totally relaxed as I choose "laughing gas & a 70s channel on the MP3 player to be my partners. With some cool glasses on I was ready and again the information share was perfect, I was informed of everything and the assistant who was operating the suction machine was on her A game. I was painful dont get be wrong BUT tolerant because of the prepping, the comfort and most of all the A Team that was working on me. It was finally over and with my "fat face and 4 teeth less" I was allowed to leave BUT not before a detailed briefing and my assurance that I understood all the instructions and the knowledge that it was all for the best and I well be "me" again soon. The highlight of my most positive experience at Tomasik Family Dental was the call the next day from Dr. Andrew, that warmth and genuineness in his voice made me feel for a moment that I was truly the only patient :-) He asked how I was doing and reminded me of some key points and the best one was NO GYM. Thanks again everyone

Thus far I am not happy to say the least and I am putting this mildly. I like the staff and the place itself was good however the procedure I recieved I do not feel comfortable with. I had a tooth pulled and was supposed to have an inplant put it but the hole was too big and then I was stictched up. I was given no gauze and told I could take over the counter Ibuproven. It has been 3 and 1/2 days and I am in some serious pain and have no slept for more then 3 hours at a time. I did recieve a follow up call saying that I could get something that would make me drousy which at work I cannot have. I also was not too thrilled that when I had recieved the shot to numb they started to work right away and I felt his pic digging on my gums. I told him and he stopped and when he cme back he talked to me like a child saying "do not feel alarmed from the pressure, you will feel the pressure and that is normal " I let it slide and further when i had my mouth open and could not speak he asks " you do not feel any pain now , do you ? " I think if I did I would have said something before he was working on me and not waited till he was into the procedure for so long. I felt like he was condescending and he waited till I could not say anything. I was pissed off and wanted to stop everything right then but because he was so deep into it I did not, however, I was not comfortable and eventually nodded off and when I woke up he was done. I just was not happy and did not think I got what I deserved and coming to a place for the first time I was highly disappointed and would not wish anyone to go through that.

I never realized how bad my last dentist was until I came here. The level of professionalism, care, and technology is amazing. I had to have a poorly constructed/fitted one year old crown replaced (previous dentists work) and the entire procedure was actually pleasant! The staff is great at pain control and comforting measures. They make their crowns in-office. No temps or waiting weeks for your crown. One and done! Im pretty certain Ive left my cleaning and crown visits with a skip in my step and a giant smile on my face. Everyone you work with is a joy. They go above and beyond, meeting with you to discuss payment options and developing a care plan. They do not try to up-sell you with the various procedures/products they offer. A dentist with integrity and compassion. I actually look forward to going back and my Novocaine hasnt even worn off! Update: two years later and Im still a satisfied customer! Im pulling my children from their pediatric dentist to bring them here, I think theyre way nicer than the child-specific office.

Were new to Bee Cave and were referred to Dr. Tomasik by our oral surgeon. Ive been several times now, and I think Dr. Tomasik is probably the best dentist Ive had over many years. He started by developing a two-year plan that maximized use of my dental benefits and minimized my out-of-pocket expenses. In order to get this years work done before December 31, I requested a long appointment to get it over with. After nearly four hours in the chair yesterday, Im pain free this morning using only ibuprofen when some jaw soreness emerges. Pretty impressive. And this wasnt four hours with the dentist shuffling between multiple patients in different stalls. They dont double book so I had his full attention the entire four hours. Finally, their prices are reasonable. Our previous dentist put together a work plan for my wife and me that would have put his grandkids through college.

I cant praise Tomasik Family Dental enough for the excellent job they did. It had been some time since my last dentist visit due to some unpleasant experiences with my last provider. The staff at TFD were so polite and kind, taking the time to explain everything they were doing and making sure I was comfortable with every step taken. The professionalism and charisma displayed by Dr. Tomasik and Dr. Nguyen has ensured this is my go to for dental needs from now on. After my visit had concluded I proceeded to the front desk to handle payment, where the pretty young lady (I believe her name was Allison?) walked me through my coverage informing me of everything covered and even setting up a payment plan that worked around my payment schedule! 5 out of 5 stars every visit so far!

My first visit to their practice was due to an emergency. The staff and Dr. Tomasik made me feel comfortable and made it a good experience for me. I do not like going to the dentist, but the staff was so nice and everything was explained well that it turned out to be a better visit than I would have anticipated going to a dentist I didnt know last minute. He did a great job on repairing a filing and had no problems after. It is clear that their goal is to make the patient feel comfortable and will do what needs to be done to make that happen. I have switched my care to their practice and have some upcoming work that needs to be done and dont feel nervous like I usually do. Everyone there is friendly and accommodating!
