Very terrible place to go if you are really indeed sick and need to be put in the hospital. Only one Dr was on staff and the name stated Dr.Cordova on the board along with the other staff. However, Dr. Khan which was not even around wrote my prescription. The staff including the Dr knew I had pneunomphia for 18 days. They had all 24 pages of my records and medications I am on and have been on. Meanwhile 2 other patients come in with heart attackes bless theyre hearts if they live. One was finally going to be taken downtown. The other they was just getting around to seeing. The Dr came in asked me what was wrong I had a cough. I said no have you not read my chart. I have pneumophia. I am on all kinds of antibiotics and steriods. He said he had not looked at my chart yet or xrays he left the room. Another man came in very nice Howell or Powell I think was the last name. He told me my xray look good, just small hazy spotS AND MY BLOOD WORK DID SHOW i WAS FIGHTING AN INFECTION, if I had pneumophia it was healing up. I said I have a radiolgy tech, and 3 Doctors and 24 pages stating I have it, Ive lost 16lbs in 12 days running 104.9 fever. At any rate the Dr. finally comes in for 2 minutes, gives me another antibiotic Levaquin prescription and more steriods, states if you are not well by Monday or Tuesday, we will admit you. I get to my pharmacy, the pharmist states there is a huge no no allergic reaction warning against taking Levaquin and z pack, you must wait 3 days after taking z pack to take Levaquin. mY LAST zPACK DOSE WAS YESTERDAY. My dad calls out To Harris Northwest to find out who is in charge, Staff= they hang up on him. The hospital was very dirty. The staff very rude at check in, empty needle packets on the floor inside the emergency actual room. They gave me a breathing treatment and put my same mouthpiece back up on the wall with tube for someone to use instead of disposal. The cleaning lady came in while I was in the room. I pointed out the needle and filthy gown I was given. Main thing is if I have a reaction or I do die from lack of being taken care of, my family will sue all involved including, Northwest Azle Harris Hospital. I called back to ask Kay my pharmacist she said Dr. Khan is on file, I explained there was one Dr. only and written on the board stated Dr. Cordova along with all the other satff. Kay states, no there has to be 2 Drs on staff. I said there was not , Kay goes oh no you went Azle thats why, that is a big no no!!! Most likely you will need hospitalized for this condition and never go to Azle Harris Northwest again!!! She states, they dont have the big equipment like downtown, nor the staff to take care of really ill people like yourself. So, there it is people. DONT WAISTE YOURE TIME, NOR MONEY OR CHANCE YOURE LIFE WITH HARRIS NORTHWEST AZLE, TEXAS. I dont even think they are real Doctors working there??? I think it is internship medical assistance only, not Real Drs -That is only what I think, I will be looking into it. I bet it probably is true. I feel for the 2 heart attack victims, if they even made it. Very bad exsperience. I WAS IN THERE FOR 4 LONG HOURS. WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK!!!!

Horrible. I went in and the lady at the front desk says can I help you. I said I feel horrible, I feel like I am going fall flat on my face. I am very dizzy and my legs will hardly go. I am very shaky and trembling. She said ID please. I was so sick it took me a few seconds to locate my ID along with my insurance. After about 30 minutes someone called my name. The lady that took my vitals was just plain rude and mean. She talked 90 miles an hour and I was not that coherent. She was asking questions so fast I could hardly keep up and I think she did a very poor job. She was just rude and mean as if I was bothering her by being there. I never got seen as they kept saying 30 minutes, then I would go up and ask how much longer. One person ahead of you. I would have been there after 2AM before I would have been seen. The entire experience was awful. I will never ever ever go to this hospital again. I asked her should I go to the Texas Harris downtown Fort Worth with my symptoms and she said thats up to you. They are the worst. I left due to the very bad first impression especially with that horrible rude person who took the vitals and information. I also read the other reviews and this hospital has a very very bad reputation. I dont know if you have to live in Azle to get good treatment at this hospital. There was a lady that came in after me with her little boy. I think she was seen before the many people there, but I love kids, so that didnt bother me so much, but it is the waiting and waiting and waiting and I went and asked the intake person how many beds they had. They have 7 and one emergency room doctor. Really, one doctor on a Friday night. I really feel for anyone who came in with a heart attack symptoms or a compound fracture. God knows how long they would have to wait. Today is 04/08/2017. It is now 1:29 AM. I left my house at 11:07 PM on 04/07/2017. Worst Hospital and I will never ever ever go back again. I called Uber and said get me out of this rude rude uncaring, blatantly uncaring hospital and take me home. I will then decide if I will go to a hospital downtown. Apparently all these responses by Sarah or whomever she is saying " I am so sorry to hear about your experience" does absolutely nothing as your hospital emergency room continues to get horrible reviews.

My daughter was brought into your Azle ER because she was jumped on by a dog and had a cut through her eyebrow. My mother was concerned about it and thought she may need stitches. I met them at the ER and when I got there the Dr. was using surgical glue to put the wound together (which I later found out that you are not supposed to use glue on dog wounds or on an eyebrow!). As I watched him, he would push her skin together, but more so on the inside not pushing the outside together. When it dried, I looked at it and it was very goopy with glue and the wound was not completely shut at the bottom and part of the top and it looked as though her eyebrow was crooked. My mother and I were very concerned about how it looked and when the nurse came in to discharge us, I questioned that. She brought the Dr. back in and he proceeded to tell us in medical terms that that’s how it suppose to look. We left the ER and I could not get over how it looked. Something just wasn’t right. I took my daughter the next day to her Dr. hoping that maybe it could be redone or the glue removed and maybe have stitches. She informed me that it was too late. She said he did a very poor job of closing it up and that he should have never used surgical glue on a dog wound because of infection or over the eyebrow because now her eyebrow will be crooked. The wound was becoming very infected and now all that infection will be trapped under all that glue. She prescribed her an antibiotic and told us to watch it. The next day it was even more infected and you could see puss collecting under the glue. We were very concerned so my mother took her back to the Dr to see if there was anything that could be done to get that puss out. The Dr. then poked holes in the glue and squeezed out most of the puss and prescribed another stronger medication to use. I feel like the Azle ER Dr. should have known not to use surgical glue in this situation. After we left her Dr’s office, I Googled “surgical glue” and right there, plain as day, in bullet points, NEVER USE SURGICAL GLUE ON AN ANIMAL WOUND, NEVER USE SURGICAL GLUE OVER AN EYEBROW. I’m sure that my daughter would have had a scar on her face regardless, but now for this Dr’s stupidity, the scar is going to be bigger and more noticeable.
