The doctor is bland, but the staff was happy to help us even after they locked the doors. They stayed long enough to help us find the exact frames we were looking for, the fit, and they also explained different lense options to us. That was a first for us! 1/2 of the staff seemed grumpy but the other half who were actually smiling made up for the others bitterness appearance. As soon as we get our glasses in I will be making a new appointment for the next member of the family to go. One of the happier ones even gave me a new contact solution after hearing that my contacts burn every morning! 3 out of our family members need glasses, and they just won our business! Prices are slightly less than what we paid previously.

I had gone there because Dr Barton was recommended by a friend. I made my appt earlier in the week for friday afternoon at 2. I cannot rate the doctor as that at 230, I was still waiting to see him. The ladies at the desk couldnt tell me how much longer my wait would be. To add to this, another patient/customer came in and commented on how quiet/slow they were today! If that was the case, why was I still sitting in waiting area half an hour later? They came up with 2pm. If they actually meant 3, they should have told me to be there at 3. If the Dr was running late, they should have told me when I walked in. Wont be back.

I Give Dr. Barton Five Stars for truly caring about his patients overall health. When Dr. Barton informed me that except for being nearsighted my eyes were in great shape, he also stated ”Your eyes are windows into your overall health and can provide warning signs of many other health issues”. He was telling me this, not because he had found a problem, but to let me know he had taken time to look and had not seen any issues. Not one of the other eye care professionals I have been to have ever indicated they were looking for anything other than vision issues.

Dr. Barton and his staff were very friendly and accommodating to see me on a Saturday afternoon (when it was closing time) as a referral from my eye doctor, who was out of town. He patiently took the time to examine my eye and took care of my problem so that I could comfortably get through the weekend, and hopefully this will resolve my issue completely! Very impressed with the service I received!

And I like Dr. Barton. Hes a no-nonsense doctor. I like the fact that last time I was there, while they are now pushing this new retina scan technology, he took the time to explain it to me and get past the hype. Some places are too arrogant to do that. They just tell you that you should do it and treat you like an idiot. Prices are OK and I like the staff. They handle insurance fine.

I had a great experience, the staff was professional, patient and very helpful. They took their time and were very thorough. I have worn glasses 30+ yrs and I have to say this is the best pair I have ever had! They are so clear and sharp. Definitely quality all around. I would recommend them to everyone.

Yikes. I still havent gotten used to being treated as an insurance carrier instead of a customer, and I never plan to. Hope the doctor takes time to train his staff on the proper protocol and basic etiquette when dealing with future patients/customers/insurance carriers.

We see another eye doctor. However, weve purchased my kids glasses here. Great selection and the service could not be better. They really have the extra mile to help us out with every break and issue weve had with kids glasses!
