Dr Melvin Cleaveland is a good eye doctor although do not purchase your frames/lenses from his office. I purchased my glasses 6 months ago and was told frames/lenses are covered for 2 years for everything except loss. Today I brought them in after my dog got ahold of them and of course they are damaged. The "office manager" informed me there is no coverage except for defects. I asked to see that in writing and she could not produce a copy of their policy. I informed her that I was told otherwise and she said she could not help me. She became very ugly when I asked her name to write a complaint about her and she refused to give me her name. (probably the reason why she was the only one in the office not to have on a name tag). With a doctor on every corner, I would definitely stay clear of Dr. Melvin Clevelands office in Arlington, Texas. Additionally, I did call another Vision Source and was told if I purchased from their Arlington office that my Crizal lenses would at least be covered.

Dr. Cleveland is a good doctor and does know what he is talking about. The problem is the office itself. It took me a total of 2 hours for a normal eye check up. The follow appointment, which should have only taken 20 minutes, took an hour. If this is the only option for you, bring something to do while you wait for an unnecessary amount of time. Do yourself a favor and go some place else.

I had the worst experience with a person in his office named Amerina. She is very unprofessional, uses extremely harsh language and made me feel very uncomfortable. She was rude and not at all what you would expect from a professional person in charge of your eye care.

My experience with Vision Source was scored so low because of just one person. A lady named Amerina was rude, condescending and used foul language several time during my visit. She made me feel very uncomfortable and I wont go back to this location.
