As someone with a long running fear of the dentist, it had been years before I mustered up the courage to sit back in "the chair." Having some terrible experiences as a child with a vastly unqualified dentist, I had worked up a freezing fear of the dentist. Some years ago, my wife had convinced me to try again with her family dentist. That visit escalated into a scathing lecture from a dentist that was not only unwilling to understand, but even listen to my fears. I can confidently say, Dr. Smith was not like any dentist I had ever experienced! From the time I set foot in his office the staff was incredibly comforting and took the time to explain the whole process to me. I was relaxed in his office and enjoyed some complimentary water prior to visit. When they took me back, the staff was understanding and allowed me to time to explain my fears, previous experiences, and acknowledged that my fears were not only common, but well understood and justified. When Dr. Smith finally came in, he again allowed me to discuss my fears and experiences. Not only did he acknowledge my fear, took the time to understand and share his concerns. This was incredibly comforting. As we discussed my plan to get me back on track, after 10+ years, he was not only soothing in nature, but honest about the work to be done and upfront on expectations. After my first visit, I was asked to come back and felt comfortable enough to book on the spot. Having had several visits, Im confident in saying that I have my family dentist and have scheduled my daughters first dentist appointment with Dr. Smith as well. I am unable to express my gratitude enough for Dr. Smith and his wonderful staff. If you have any concerns at all with a dentist visit, I highly recommend trying Dr. Smith at Cross Roads Dentistry!

Could not be happier with our overall experience. After going to monarch dental and even getting a consultation/recommendation from another dentist, we reluctantly came to see Dr Smith. He was recommended to us by a couple people who fear the dentist. Both said they loved Dr Smith and now do not dread the dentist. Both Monarch and another independent dentist had stated my 7yr old daughter needed extensive dental work done including up to 8 silver caps and pulpotomies(baby root canals). Dr Smith said he didnt really like silver caps because they didnt usually fit well. I actually high fived him. Was very relieved to hear this. He proceeded to put numbing medication on my daughters gums. She did not even feel the shot. He had to do a baby root canal on her and said she would likely be sore. She did not complain at all of pain after the numbing medication wore off. He explained everything so well to my daughter that she felt completely comfortable with him working on her. I was so happy with the experience, I decided to schedule my younger daughter and apt for a cleaning and check up. They had a cancellation and worked her in while my other daughter had her procedure done. My 4 yr old had a cleaning and xrays done. The dental hygienist that worked on her was very nice and thorough. We will be going back in a month to get the rest of my 7 yr old dental work done. Im even thinking about changing my dentist to him and I have been seeing the same dentist my entire life and always been happy with him. Would not recommend anyone else for adults or kids.

This past week I had an amazing experience at the dentist!!!! I have always had a fear of going to the dentist; however, my recent visit was the total opposite. Cross Roads Dentistry is a family owned and operated; so if youre looking for a dentist, look no more! Dr. Smith and his staff are amazing people willing to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. My family has been using another dentist/orthodontist for 15+ years and every time it was a horrible experience; we were just another number in their computer system. This is not the case here, every employee at Cross Roads Dentistry went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.....I think it goes a long way when the doctor comes in, introduces himself and actually tells you about himself and his family. He is from the local area and his father was a dentist here for years.....and if you are still not convinced, this should say a lot.......even his mom works there!!!! Cross Roads Dentist is the best!!

Dr Joe & his entire staff are incredible! After I heard that he was the best dentist around from several friends, I decided to switch from my lifelong dentist. I walked into a clean & cozy office & was immediately greeted by the friendliest faces! Once they called me back, the hygienist was just as friendly & made sure all of my needs were met. Then, Dr Joe came in & was exremely profesional. He took time to get to know me & genuinely cared. Just a few months into pregnancy at the time, his entire office was extremely accommodating to all of my needs. Now, I cant imagine Dr Joe NOT being my dentist! If you are looking for a dentist - Dr Joe is the guy! I promise you will leave his office with a new "lifelong" dentist!

My experience was great and I highly recommend this dentist! Dr. Smith and his staff are professional and they made my visit comfortable. I had to get a crown to take care of an issue I was having. Ive had crowns in the past, but this was the most efficient and effective crown procedure Ive ever experienced - the fit was good the first time, and I am now pain free! The staff worked me in for my initial appointment (same day), then worked with my insurance to get it approved, and made sure my following appointments were on time and that I was on my way with as little down time as possible. I appreciate the care and professionalism from this group and trust Cross Roads Denistry to provide my family great dental care.

My family and extended family have all seen Dr. Joe for the last 3 years. His experience and knowledge were put to the test last spring when my son broke his jaw; loosening and breaking several permanent and baby teeth. Dr. Joe was able to see my son and make a treatment plan as soon as we left the hospital. Not only did he and his staff put everyone at ease; he then educated our family on what to look for and what to expect as time went on. Dr. Joe is not just a dentist he is an educator. Providing my children and myself the knowledge we need to make good decisions for our oral heath while showing the importance it plays on our overall health. 10 Dentist in 8 States and NONE Compare to DR. Joe Smith!

I came to Crossroads Family Dentistry a few months ago because my previous dentist stopped taking my dental insurance. I was a little nervous because I loved my last dentist and was worried It would be hard to find another that I loved just as much! Dr. Smith by far exceeded my expectations! Very laid back and easy going. I felt like more than just a patient as he spent time just chatting with me about things. The staff is so sweet too! I have recommended this office to a few people already!! I will definitely be making my routine dental visits from now on!! Thank you Dr. Smith and staff for making me feel very comfortable!!
