Oh hell no! I wouldnt suggest this place to my worst enemy to have ANY dental work done. a couple of years ago I went here to have a wisdom tooth extracted. Now mind you I am not a dentist and was unaware that extracting a wisdom tooth was what you call Oral Surgery. The dentist was very unprofessional. I was in a lot of pain and being already afraid of dentists, I was a little emotional. Instead of the dentist trying to calm me and being reassuring she was angry and frustrated. I heard her and another patient in another room laughing and talking about my situation like my pain and stress was hilarious. the dentist finally came back and was in rush to extract the tooth. She was pulling and yanking on my tooth inpatiently and could not extract it. Finally she basically crush the whole tooth and screamed "Oral Surgery." All this time I was wide awake. she dug and rooted a hole in the back of my mouth. I sit there for an hour or more why she kept scraping and scraping the hole in the back of my mouth. Finally she was done and told me to go home and take Ibuprofen which she prescribed for me. I did not know that she was supposed to have sutured the hole in my mouth before she sent me home. I cried and rolled in agony for an hour or more when I made it home after the oral anesthetic wore off. It took a couple of hours for my prescription to be filled at the local pharmacy. To make a long story short it took almost two months for my tooth to heal. I developed dry socket and had to go back to the dentist twice to have the tooth looked at. When I went back to South Dallas smiles the dentist was very angry when she noticed that my tooth was not healing and told me that I had to take better care of it. Now I have had two extractions done before and had never had this problem, but they were not wisdom teeth and did not have to require oral surgery nor sutures which were never used by this doofus. So, I dont know how I was not taking care of it when she was the one who didnt sew me up in the first place! She packed some filler in it and sent me back home. The filler fell out. I was back at a new dentist 2 weeks later crying and in pain. This dentist examined my tooth and told me that it was infected and that she could see my jaw bone. There was pus running out of the back of my mouth. She asked me what happened I explained to her the previous months experience. She told me that the dentist who had did the extraction was supposed to have put me under for the surgery and also sewed up the hole in my mouth. This new dentist was very nice and experienced. She gave me an anesthetic(my mouth was raw by this time from all the shots) packed the hole in my mouth and sewed it back up. She also prescribed me antibiotics for the infection I had set up. I was well within two weeks of that visit. I was burning up with anger and wanted to sue South Dallas Smiles and their crew of quacks. Im still angry as I write this thinking of all the pain humiliation and prolonged suffering I had to go through dealing with these idiots. Now I tell everybody about South Dallas smiles and my horrible experience at their incompetent hands and try to steer them clear of these bunch of med school drop outs. Id rather go to a third world faith healer other than to deal with these bozos again. Thank God for internet reviews! Im going to continue to spread the word about the bad business at South Dallas Smiles and hopefully no one else will go through the pain or suffering I had to endure at the hands of these butchers. This place needs to be shut down by the state and the dentist needs her license snatched for being incompetent and ignorant.

Where do I begin, I was treatly poorly because I had no insurance. But cash on hand! The head dentist lady let me know she didnt need my business. Only after waiting 3 hours...2 in the waiting room a 1 more after the lady saw my swole face to say we cant do a regular examination.Offered an alternative ,but never came back.I then go ask about how much more of a wait being im now in the chair to be seen. At the very least could you just prrscribe some antibiotics and pain pills.I was asked do you have an appointment,I replied no she ten saif well were going in order.I say ok she aay arr you in a room i explain and she saus no one came back? again we have scheduled appointments. Why have me in pain another hour to let me know my guaranteed cash isnt even enough..All in all the head dental lady put me out, for simple questions. Thanks for waisting my muthafuckin time and I pray that business isnt open this time next year.The exact location that makes you say black people .

The service was okay for as the doctor making sure that you didnt feel any pain while getting service but gave me the run around while i was in pain trying to get something else for pain about 4 days and still had to come to clinic and wait
