Dr. Tate has a lot of qualities that make him an excellent choice for an OBGYN. I offer a unique perspective as a review writer because I am a first a nurse and have knowledge about quality of healthcare and secondly, I spent almost 3 months observing and learning from Dr. Tate as a Nurse Practitioner student. Qualities: Dr. Tate is an expert in obstetrical and gynecological health and identified more than several high risk pregnancies during my time with him resulting in early intervention. He is an excellent listener and has great bedside manner. He is adored by all of his patients because he has the best interest of the patient in mind while offering the best treatment alternatives with consideration of cost and quality. Dr. Tate is also known to honor birth plan wishes… even in the most extremes. Office Space: The Female Health building is gorgeous. The office has a daily cleaning service which provides a sterile environment. The building also offers other physicians specializing in women’s health needs such as uro/gyn and now reconstruction making it a one stop shop for all female needs. Patient Perks: In office procedures AND a high tech ultrasound machine able to offer 3D pictures. Melaina is one of the best sonographers in DFW and comes in on Wednesdays. There is great staff that has created special relationships with patients which demonstrates the true family environment. And the best perk of all, freebies, Dr. Tate has a nice stash of medication samples ranging from prenatal vitamins, to overactive bladder remedies, menopause remedies and birth controls of all sorts. Now, since you read to the end of my review, I’m going to reward you with a joke. “A young girl goes to the gynecologist for vaginal discomfort and he examines her. He says, "You have acute vaginitis." She responds with a "Thank you!" Get it? Now.. go make your annual appointment. :)

I feel so grateful that I found Dr. Tate! We have never had a problem getting in for an appointment. I once had to go to the ER and he was the on-call OB which made me feel so great knowing my physician was the one making sure everything was healthy and okay after needing emergent care. The staff is wonderful and remembers my husband and I with every visit. His wife is the office manager and they truly run their office with families in mind. They have ultrasound machines at the bedside so you are able to see your baby with every visit, which is not normal for OBs. I wouldnt recommend any physician or office any higher than Dr. Tate and his caring staff.

I just realized this REVIEW is published under my sons name- Eddy DeMars of Edward DeMars and Associates, LLC. my apologies Dr Tate is The Absolute Best OB Dr. in Fort Worth. He is so wonderful and helped my daughter have an easy and wonderful delivery. I was the one scared, but he was right on top of every thing ! Awesome Staff and Wife.... Oh and dont forget Mimi, she is one beautiful little girl and so friendly. She played with my grand-daughter Brooke every time we had visits. Highly recommend The Whole Team !!! You always get a smile coming and going and they made you feel like family.

Spectacular Doctor!!! My first pregnancy went well but I was very displeased with my Dr, after switching to Tate he has done nothing but put trust back in me for the medical team with my second pregnancy. He answers all questions and concerns. If I have an important question over the phone he will make time to answer it himself which stood out most for me. His whole staff makes you feel like family in each visit coming in and leaving the office. Definitely recommend Dr. Tate and his team!!

If I could go lower I would... He is very nice but he needs malpractice placed on him... He almost killed my best friend after doing two needless operation, and then I almost lost my twins because he would not refer me out to a period when I had aligo....Then I just found out he made a girl I work with go over 70 hours in labor with breach presentation before he would do a c section. Please find someone else!!!

When i first started going to Dr.Tate it was a great experience i never had any issues now that he has more clients it seems as if hes too busy to take care of each clients needs to its full capacity i feel as though Ive been overlooked and have a lot of unanswered questions everytime i call i get the run around im really frustrated and thinking about changing doctors

Being past the childbirth part of my life, I found Dr. Tate and his team when looking for a GYN to help me with issues related to post breast cancer medicine and its side effects. I absolutely adore him and his staff! Ive since moved to the U.S. Virgin Islands and will fly back to see him for all my checkups and procedures!

Dr. Tate took care of me during my pregnancy with my rainbow baby. His bedside manner was impeccable. His office staff was just incredible. I could call with ANY question or worry I had and they would take care of me right away. So happy he was my doctor, especially during such a high risk and high anxiety pregnancy.
