I went to Dr. Chen back in November of 2015 after not being able to get pregnant for 6 months. I had an HSG test done by their incompetent radiologist at Grapevine hospital that totally botched the first test so I had to re-do it again 5 minutes after I painfully went through the first test (added too much dye). We got the results back and Dr. Chen said both my tubes were blocked. I was shocked. The reasons most likely for something like this to occur to a woman did not fit - and nobody in my family has ever had fertility issues. She told me over the phone (yes, over the phone) right at Thanksgiving time that I would NEVER be able to conceive naturally and I must get my tubes removed. Of course at 28 that was the most devastating news Ive ever heard. My husband and I decided to visit a top fertility specialist in Colorado to repeat the tests and get a full diagnosis. Low and behold, my tubes WERE NOT BLOCKED! The doctor (who we would have paid $20,000 for in-vitro to before walking out his door) said there was no reason I couldnt conceive on my own. We were happy, but shocked! What happened if I never got a second opinion and went with Dr. Chens diagnosis she was so adamant about? She knew the test was botched the first time around but since she was so sure the test was accurate she didnt have me go for a re-test a week later. When I called Dr. Chens office to inform them of the results I got they were so rude and INSISTED the results could not be accurate. Well, Im quite sure the fertility doctors report WAS accurate because I got pregnant in May of 2016. Thank the Lord I went with my gut feeling and didnt listen to Dr. Chens persistent advice telling me my tubes had to come out ASAP if I wanted to conceive. I think the worst part, aside from Dr. Chen not sending me for a re-test and not advising me to do more testing before telling me, a 28 year old, that my tubes have to be removed (life altering) her office staff was so incredibly rude on the phone when I called them to tell them about the reports I got back from the specialist, telling me that one of the top fertility specialists in the USA was wrong and the results just couldnt be. Never got any kind of well thats great news or any kind of positive feedback, only rude insinuations that Dr. Chen couldnt have possibly been wrong, and this other doctor (who would have pocketed thousands off of me) was the one that was wrong. My belly tells it all. Baby due February 2017. Im posting this very personal review because I think its important women know second opinions are an absolute must when it comes to life altering things such as having your tubes removed - do NOT take your doctors word for it. If I did, I would have been a 29 year old with no tubes and the inability to ever conceive naturally. Needless to say, I will NEVER step foot into this office again and I would advise other women to look elsewhere - Any doctor of any sort that is not willing to accept they could be wrong is not a good doctor.

I found her ad in the high end magazine "Living" Her ad stated "Providing attentiveness and expert care during the most precious as well as difficult moments in a womans life" HA! What a lie!!! I had a MRI recently for a back injury and they saw something on my Uterus so naturally I was eager to get in to see a GYNO. I called to make an appointment and verified my insurance with the receptionist and she set the appointment for 3 weeks out. I went to the appointment and the receptionist told me that my insurance would not cover as I had to be referred by a prim dr. It would be $150.00 to see the Doctor. I told her okay and then she said, well she may not even be able to look at your Uterus as we are overbooked and behind. So I said So, I am going to pay $150.00 and she is not even going to examine me? And she said, she can not garnette a exam as they are too busy and she will probably just talked to me and then want me to come back for a exam at another time. WHAT????? Really? I stated. Yes, she said. So I said forget it, and left. This was after waiting 1 hour in the waiting room and taking off the whole morning for work. Dont waste your time or money on this Doctor!!!! Bad customer service and apparently they have enough biz!!!

I dont even know how to express how speacial this Dr is! I came to her on the verge of suicide from the pain I have been in for years that had recently gotten much worse and after another Dr took my money and offered no help whatsoever. She not only offered help, but said that she would do whatever it took to help me. If the treatments she currently offers didnt work she said she find other treatments. On that day she showed me that she truly cared about me and gave me hope, at this point my pain is greatly reduced and she says she still has tricks up her sleeve that she thinks will get me to pain free! Something I thought was impossilbe. If you want a Dr who is in your corner, she is the one to go with, I drive over an hour to come her and would gladly drive much further, she is worth it.

I love her staff and loved her during SOME of my appointments. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonable. However she constantly rushed me and I had to wait forever to see her for almost every appointment. When I have real and serious health concerns I dont want to be rushed and interrupted before I can even get my point across. Im thankful she delivered my baby but Im having some complications post birth that I will definitely be getting a second opinion on.

I have been seeing Dr. Chen since she started at this practice about 9 years ago. She has delivered both of my girls, will be delivering my 3rd baby this year, worked with me and been a huge advocate for my BRCA testing. She is very direct with me which I need. She always put my health and or baby before anything, sometimes before what I even want but I trust her with everything. I would totally recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Chen is great. I am using her as my doctor for the delivery of my first child. I have been going to her for a year or so. Every appointment she is very thorough, patient and helpful. Everyone has complained about wait time, but I work in the medical field and completely understand thats normal. The waiting doesnt bother me at all and Ive really never waited that long.

Dr. Chen is an amazing doctor but her staff is consistently rude to me whether it is when I talk to them on the phone or in the office, plus you should plan to wait at least thirty minutes in the waiting room past your appointment time.
