I have been going here to see Dr. Duncan for years now. Have always loved the practice - Dr. Duncan and Team (RN, Becky...love her!) have always been cordial and made me feel they truly care about me and my family. I must say though, it seems things have changed since they have become part of Texas Health Resources. The ambiance of "personal care" seems to have diminished! I feel like we are treated like an "account in the SYSTEM". Its nice to have the electronic prescriptions but sometimes, Id rather have my RX to take myself. Its just minutes from my Walgreens and get there and they dont have it in their "SYSTEM" yet. Then moments after I get home I get a text my prescription is ready....wastes my time! I went there this afternoon to have myself and daughter checked for our coughs and congestion. We saw the PA, Mr. Weaver, who made me feel like an antibiotic junkie. He was not going to prescribe me antibiotics - wanted me to wait until Ive been sick for 10 days first. I told him I know my body and if I didnt get started on meds today, I would just be back in a few days worse. I have only seen him on a few occasions and hes always been cordial but, today he made me feel horrible and I wasted my time. He even gave me grief about requesting a referral to an ENT for my daughter who has chronic sinus and allergies. When he did say hed put the request in for the referral and I requested he put a note that I prefer to be called to make my own appointment around my schedule, he said, "Well, this is the way it works." "The referral is made and they get the appointment and call you with it. If you dont like the appointment, you can call and change it. But, the "SYSTEM" has to have a date and time entered." There goes that "SYSTEM" again - we are people....not a SYSTEMATIC PROCESS" I was truly so dissatisfied with the way this PA made me feel. Quite honestly, I will be looking for a new physician for my family because of it.

If I could give less I would. Dr. Chacon is awesome but his staff and office manager are the worst I have ever encountered in a doctors office. Besides being dismissive the are unprofessional and have no accountability. In my specific case to the point of neglecting to get a medical release form and faxing all of my medical information to some random doctor I have never heard of. The kicker is the doctor they were supposed to send them to, they had refered me to months before. They sure did a heck of a job belittling me and making me jump through hoops to get my own records. Awful awful place if you want your hippa rights to be respected avoid this office.

I wish I had read the reviews before I went. I saw the PA Ryan Kendrick this morning. He is very arrogant, dismissive and a huge waste of time. I left and now Im sitting at urgent care and not surprisingly, they felt that I actually am sick and needing treatment. But hey, now I know that Mr. Kendricks dog doesnt like to pee on wet grass and other useless info about him. He did say if I was still feeling sick I could come back in two weeks and hed give me an antibiotic! I will not be going back and Im filling a complaint with my insurance!

We have seen Dr. Duncan for years. The past couple of years, we have switched to seeing Mr. Weaver, Mr. Kendrick and Ms. Willard. We love the care we receive from them! They always take the time to listen to our concerns and dont over-prescribe medications. We have even switched the care of our 5 kids over to them from their pediatrician. We always get in quickly and are treated so well by all of the staff. If we need additional testing or x-rays, we get referrals quickly but they arent over-done like most doctor offices.

The Staff is wonderful! The PAs Not so much. Seen both Weaver and Kendrick, walked away each time with prescriptions that were excessive for the minor issues I had. Seriously?A highly addictive opiate for a minor headache associated with a virus? WTF! You folks must have some amazing pharma sales reps! If you like taking pills, like being treated in a condescending way and not listened to, handed prescriptions to shut you up and make you feel like your insurance is paying for something. Go here.

The providers are good. The MAs too. I had multiple bad experiences with ONE of the nurses, I left messages and she never returned my calls. She gets very defensive, rude and didnt own up to her mistake. I work with nurses, I can distinguish the good and the bad. She was THE terrible. The manager, shes rude. I called to complain about the nurse, she said "please hold" AND TRANSFERRED ME TO THE NURSE.

Because they can not keep their appointment, Im considering another doctor. My appointment was at 12:00 pm, its 1:40 pm. Im falling asleep, I need to use the restroom. Where is the Dr?!! THANKS " Obama Care" because of the "Act" I have lost my previous insurance and a good Doctor!! Well, the doctor Chacón finally showed up around 1:50. The experience was good

My appointment which I made a week ago was at 10:15am I waited for an hour and a half yes 1 1/2 hr in the room and left since doctor never showed. They DO NOT HONOR appointments so if you have all the time in the world to wait this is the place for you. I walked out, will be changing doctor. My appointment was wIth Dr. CHACON.

Im very happy with the treatment I received at Healthfirst On Heritage Trace Pkwy. The whole staff was very nice and professional. Being this was my first visit, I expected to be there much longer than I actually was. Nice and clean office in a great location with a pharmacy literally right next door! Definitely Recommended!

I have never had any issues with scheduling besides the normal wait time when its clod and flu season. The nurses and Doctors listen attentively and give you the best treatment. I recommend this practice to anyone. Here and the one on beach st. I am very satisfied with their overall service.
