We went in for routine check-ups today after waiting 7 weeks for an appointment. Dr Saty had been recommended and I was looking forward to the connection since we recently lived in India for a couple years. We arrived on time and waited for over an hour. The lady beside me had been waiting almost 2 HOURS before being called back. The waiting room was run down, filthy, small, and congested...but was playing some healthy parenting videos.I inquired with the receptionist about the wait since Id taken time off work for this. She said the Dr arrived 2 hours late. Perhaps this was a rare occurrence, but others in the waiting room said it was "normal". Waiting 2 hours for a doctor in India is nothing, but this culture is all about efficiency. We left after waiting an hour because my idea of a Friday afternoon is not waiting in a dingy office with a bunch of sick kids for a well-child check. Its fabulous if this doctor is that well sought after that people are willing to wait that long, but not me.

Getting a hold of anyone at this office is hit or miss. Mostly miss, though. Dr. Saty does not even come into the office until 10am or later, yet they schedule appointments starting at 8am. The waiting room is extremely dirty and has a moldy smell to it. The ONLY reason I take my kids there is because I LOVE the female doctor on staff there. Every time I take my kids when they are sick, Dr. Saty says its "allergies" and writes a script for Bromfed. 3 days later we are at urgent care and its a sinus infection or something else that should have been treated with antibiotics. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a pediatrician. Anyone within Cook Childrens has been awesome for us.

I have visited several times and I just cant go back anymore. The last three times I went there, my appointment was scheduled for 8:15 and the doctor arrived after 10. In my experience the staff was attentive and caring but I didnt like the doctors approach. I spent 4 hours just for a routine check. He is very slow and he diagnosed everything as an allergy, which he says are common in Texas so he wouldnt refer you to an allergist.

I wouldnt even give it a star. Every time I go there he ends up talking about my weight an that I shouldnt over eat that I should count my calories an etc. Im only 125 an Im 15. An the Dr. tells my mother to make sure her kids dont turn fat. He makes us wait for hours just to hear the same thing . an all we went for was a lab corp paper not to get insulted

I have taken my grandbabies to Dr. Saty since their birth, years ago. Dr. Saty is very good with them and takes wonderful care of them. Anytime the kids are sick, I call and they get the kids right in.
