While the initial annual and well woman visit in November appeared decent, then the problems started. I had to call multiple times to get the results of my blood work. By the time I get an answer to the results I am told that everything is fine. Follow it up later in December when I remembered, I ask for them to send my prescription for birth control to my pharmacy only to be told that my pap smear was abnormal and they cant help me. Keep in mind that in November they told me everything was fine. It took two more people to tell me that my pap smear was good. The first person tells me that something was wrong and the second person hesitates to tell me that it was good but at this point I am a bit fed up and request a copy of what they obviously cant seem to read and end up going to a OBGYN. Fast forward to February, I start receiving bills from their bloods lab for the November appointment. Thinking it was a billing error, I give the blood works people my insurance information. Then not thinking much of it, I get another bill at the end of February for the office for my pap smear (keep in mind when I made the appointment as well as when I arrived I checked with the office staff that it was covered with my insurance). Fed up with bills that I shouldnt be getting, I call my insurance to check my benefits. Aetna informs me that the office was not allowed to do my well woman exam and was informed of such by Aetna. Thus only because I called my insurance, I find out after the fact that the office lied about what they were allowed to do under my insurance. So despite that the office staff that my visit was covered by my insurance, they did a procedure that my insurance told them that wasnt covered and rather than tell me, they said nothing and they did it anyways. Further to my insurance telling me that the clinic was not authorized to do my check up and was informed of such by the insurance, their labs werent considered reputable to do the lab work the did do. So now the office and their blood work company are chasing me for almost $1k on an appointment they had told me my insurance covered. They lied to me. Ive talked to their office manager who didnt seem to care that they are doing procedures that insurances arent covering and is fine with lying about it just to get me in the door. Heres a key point for those who got this far, the insurance even told me that they shouldnt be billing me as part of the response from the insurance and the office and lab is that I am not legally responsible for these unauthorized work but they are still relentless billing me personally. Moral of my visit is do not go to them unless you like to be lied to about what is covered and expect to find out later that theyre doing things your insurance as told them is not covered and being billed and chased for money. They bait and switch, who knew a doctors office could make a snake oil salesman look good.

While the staff was very friendly and helpful, the doctor was not proficient in her field and quite sarcastic and condescending towards me. I was in for a required physical and I had questions concerning immunizations (which I had previously had), and she was both rude, curt, and sarcastic in her reply. Im not a complainer but I felt quite insulted and compelled to bring this to the attention of whoever may read this. You will be treated by her as if you are; a) a total idiot b) a lesser person for not possessing an MD c) unwelcome So, if you seek someone who listens and actually has a persuasion to be a good doctor rather than some wannabe hotshot who couldnt cut it in her residency and ended up as a low rate GP, go somewhere else. There are many Doc in a box clinics out there, many of which have great doctors and affordable prices, the former does not apply here so look somewhere else in Houston!

I have been visiting Doctors Clinic Houston for several months now with on going health issues, and the service and staff has been nothing short of excellent. I love the fact that there are courtesy calls before every appointment to remind you of your future service and the positive attitude and environment is a breathe of fresh air whenever I step into the building. My servicing physician Dr. Jenks has been great working with me and very patient. He makes the experience personal towards me and shows empathy. They do not treat you like a number or just a patient here but like family. I also appreciate the supporting staff as well. Mrs Faye has been instrumental with coordinating my visits helping any scheduling conflicts and working consistently with my insurance to make sure all appropriate actions are taken. I recommend this facility to anyone searching for medical assistance in the future.

I WENT TO THE NORTHWEST LOCATION NOT FEELING POSITIVE DUE PAIN IN MY LEFT KNEE AND REALLY JUST WANTED TO GIVE UP. I STARTED OUT IN A WORK HARDING PROGRAM AFTER A WEEK DR.SANTUARIO AND EVELYN REALIZE THAT WASNT THE PROGRAM I NEEDED TO BE.THE ENTIRE STAFF ALONG WITH FAYE, DR.SANTUARIO , DR JENKS. AND DR VIVIAN WORK VERY HARD TO TRANSITION ME INTO A CHRONIC PAIN PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM TURN MY NEGATIVE INTO A POSITIVE . I LEARNED HOW TO USE OTHER METHOD INSTEAD OF RELYING ON MEDICATION. I LEARNED HOW TO PUT WEIGHT ON MY KNEE WITHOUT RE INJURING MY KNEE. THE PROGRAM IS VERY HELPFUL. I REALLY ENJOYED THE CLASS ROOM BEING AROUND OTHERS THAT IN PAIN AND CAN RELATE TO ME BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE REALLY UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WAS GOING THROUGH. I AM NOT 100% BUT I AM BETTER THEN I WAS BEFORE I STARTED. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE ENTIRE STAFF THAT HELP ME START OVER AND KEPT PUSHING ME .

WARNING DONT GO HERE!! The initial visit went fairly smoothly all things considered. The results were my brother (age 40) couldnt kick the sore throat and congestion with the various meds prescribed. Called on a Monday to get meds renewed. Was advised to contact local pharmacy for request for refill. Did so, waited hours with sick brother only to be told at the end of the work day (after all the doctors had gone home) that the refill had be declined (anti-biotics only). Contacted clinic to begin to grasp the huge waste of time and was told that the Doctor only wanted 5 refill requests on her desk a day or some pre-school rule like that. Was told the request is still sitting on desk after the pharmacy told me it was declined. Monica Clark is the doctor who was responsible for this waste of time. This is a fine example of NO ACCOUNTABILITY to the patient.

I tried this place because I could not get in to see my primary DR. Made an appt and still had to wait awhile. I was fine with that. The Dr came in and MAYBE stayed in the room with me 4 minutes.First time I have ever met her. She listen to my chest, throat, and said I had Bronchitis. She didnt even prescribe be an inhaler. I told her I had trouble breathing. She gave me a cough medicine that kept me up all night and a antibiotic. I called back the next day to see if I could get an inhaler and maybe something that wouldnt keep me awake for coughing. The receptionist said she would call back. Never did. I called that evening and left a message and still no response. So I went to see my primary Dr the next day and got the PROPER treatment. I am finally feeling better. No bedside manner. I wouldnt go there again.
