Caring, Intelligent, Thoughtful, and Thorough are just a few adjectives that describe Dr. Collaco. I was in great denial where my allergies and asthma were concerned until this season when I was having a consistent cough and wheezing. My husband who is a physician and very particular as to who treats his family, set out to find an allergy /asthma doc. He marched into Dr. Collacos office and asked for his CV! He was very impressed that Dr. Collaco holds an MD as well as a Phd which implies he is not only well trained but truly understands the workings of the body and its response to allergens, asthma, and meds on a molecular level...but hes far from a science geek and cool enough to get my teens to adhere to their regimens! Under duress I made my appointment and now I am well controlled and my entire family is under his care. His office staff is kind and well organized and the visits are timely and never rushed. Dr. Collaco will answer any questions you have without hesitation and will answer the same ones over and over without becoming impatient! I highly recommend Dr. Collaco.

Fabulous medical practice. After two years of ineffectual treatment at a nearby allergy clinic here in Bellaire, a physician friend told us about Dr. Collaço. I have been under his care since late February (it is now June) and I am finally getting better. The Eustachian dysfunction is almost gone so that Im rarely dizzy, I am no longer extremely fatigued, no longer sneezing uncontrollably, no longer feel like my sinuses are exploding, headaches are much better, ear aches are nearly gone. Best of all, I am no longer being pumped with steroids. Everyone at Dr. Cs office is also superbly trained and exceptionally nice, from Fatima and her colleagues at the front desk to the techs and nurses. And Gina, Dr. Cs PA, is warm, caring, thorough, and competent. Finally, no one wastes your time. You go in for shots and are called in within 5 minutes of arrival. You then wait 20 minutes for safety and get checked again. Then you are good to go.

If superlatives could adequately express how I feel about the superior quality of care rendered by the Dr Collaco to my son Ishmael, I would use them all. The fact that all of the reviews on this page that I have seen so far are 5 star reviews is no coincidence. If you are looking for a doctor who can accurately diagnose your sinus or allergy afflictions, resolve these issues with the proper treatments and do it with a wonderful smile and winning personality, a visit to Dr. Collaco will meet all of these qualifications. My only disappointment is that he is not a general family practitioner or pediatrician. Although I am happy with my regular doctors, Dr. Collaco would be at the top of my list in this regard. Last but just as important, Fatima and the rest of his staff are awesome and very professional as well. Five (5) stars are well deserved.

I started to go to Dr. Collaco this summer for my asthma and allergies after a well known Pulmonologist didnt bother to help me much - for a year! My experience with him has been phenomenal. He is intelligent, interested in me as a patient and very thorough. He began with my allergy treatment and half way through it he referred me to another and much better Pulmonologist for help with my -complex- case. Through her I found out much more about my asthma and for the first time, I feel we are going somewhere with my treatment. His staff has always been wonderful, very helpful and nice. Wait times are minimal, and they are very responsive by phone when i need something. Cant recommend them all enough! There is no reason to go anywhere else.

Dr. Collaco has been treating me for severe allergies for over a year now. His treatment has been the easiest and most effective treatment I’ve ever been prescribed and it’s worked ALL year around. I’ve now seen how an appropriate treatment is all that is needed and not being sick all year is indeed proof! Dr. Collaco is a great doctor, super friendly and communicates explicitly. His practice is hassle free and accommodating for everyone. If you’re looking for a specialist who understands allergies, Dr. Collaco is the answer.

Dr. Collaco is a terrific allergist and thorough doctor who takes excellent care of his patients. Everyone who works here from Fatima at the front desk to all the nurses are professional, kind and prompt. They realize your time is valuable so they are efficient in their process to get patients in and out quickly for their weekly shots...and, no appointment is necessary for this either! My allergies are under control and I am no longer getting sinus infections. I highly recommend this doctor if you suffer from allergies.

Due to my ever worsening allergies, I finally decided to pay Dr. Collaco a visit to see what could be done to help alleviate my symptoms. Dr. Collacos has the some of the best bedside manner I have witnessed in a while and doesnt BS you about what you need or dont need. He assesses both the long term and short terms options based on the severity of your allergies and prescribes treatment / medication appropriately. I highly recommend that anyone suffering from allergies pay Dr. Collaco a visit!

Dr. Collaco was highly recommended by my primary care doctor. While I had struggled with allergies that were difficult to pinpoint and manage previously, he helped me find a way to take care of them and without an overkill of treatment. Dr. Collaco was very friendly, easy to talk to and explained things very clearly, but most importantly I could tell he was highly and genuinely motivated to help me deal with allergies and move on with life.

Ive had many allergists over the decades. Dr. Collaco stands out as the BEST. He listens, explains options and patiently answers questions. He has done wonders subduing allergies that have plagued me my entire life.The office staff is friendly and helpful. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes for the shots that Ive been getting twice a week for months, a frequent problem at other doctors offices. Who could ask for more?

After about one year of allergy problems (while seeing another allergist in town), my child slept better the very first night after seeing Dr. Collaco! My son has had improvement during the day, as well, since our visit. We are still tweaking the medications/treatments. Bottom line....Dr. Collaco pays attention and is aggressive in his treatment(s) in order to heal patients.

This is the best allergist in Houston. He has helped my 6 year old little boy who suffers from severe allergies. He takes his time with you, answers your questions, comes up with a plan for your needs and walks with you during the process. His staff are amazing. Dr. C is awesome. He truly cares for his patients and will do whatever he can to help. I have terrible allergies and he has helped tremendously. His office staff is also great.
