I saw Dr. Patel in February for a routine contact lens examination. After the appointment he charged me over $100 out of pocket, which I found to be odd because I had insurance that covered all my expenses in the past. I received an explanation of benefit showing I only owed the provider $25 for the services rendered. I confirmed this was the amount owed with my insurance company and waiting for a resolution. Also, he charged $75 for box of contact lens that costs $19.99 to $37.99 online. I expected an up-charge, but it is absurd to double the charge. Be aware! This doctors office will overcharge you by a significant amount. Confirm with your insurance how much you should pay out of pocket before providing payment. Also, order your contacts online to avoid wasting all your contacts allowance for two boxes of contacts.

Dr. Patel was very nice and the eye examination straight forward. However, please make sure to read the waiver carefully! There is an extra procedure called Topography and lid hygiene performed on all patients during the exam. You will be charged an additional $29 fee for this procedure. I do understand that it is my own fault for not reading the Terms and Conditions more carefully, however, it would have be courteous to be told verbally before agreeing to something so unnecessary! I was also unimpressed with my Contact Lens fitting. I was charged $40 for a pack of 10 daily contact lens to try. There was no fitting as this was an after-thought after the initial eye exam.

This was the best experience Ive ever had at an optometry clinic! The place was just gorgeous and clean and both Dr. Patel and Armen were courteous and a pleasure to work with. The eye exam itself was very informative and Dr. Patel actually showed me a visual of my astigmatism, which is something I have never been offered in all my years of going to other clinics. They also have a unique line of frames and they were patient with helping me find the right one. Additionally, I have allergies and been looking for something natural to help my eyes and the eye wash was just fantastic. Dr. Patel did a free demo and my eyes felt instantly better. Definitely recommend this place!

I had an eye exam here in late May 2017. Dr. Patel is top notch, friendly and knowledgeable, and the business is nice and clean. Be Aware: that by booking an exam and signing the waiver, youll automatically consent to them photographing your eye; like dilation, this service is beyond the scope of a standard eye exam so usually not covered by insurance. I did not like that theres no opting out and the doctor wont explain this addition unless you ask. The receptionist said thats the most common issue others have as well. Edit: The office contacted me and refunded that additional service charge, I thought that was a good gesture. They do monitor their social media ratings.

First time here and couldnt have had a better experience. Scheduling my eye exam online was a breeze and it was great to get an immediate follow-up email from Armand to confirm if the available time slot they had would work for me. My girlfriend and I were warmly greeted by the staff and were offered mimosas and gourmet pastries. So awesome! Dr. Patel is great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained his diagnosis clearly to me. Whitney was super helpful and assisted me in picking out a great pair of eyeglasses. Focus is a trend-setting eye care boutique and I highly recommend them for all your eye care needs.

Dr. Patel and his associates were very professional and helped both my wife and I find a new set of glasses. The eye exam was very comprehensive and thorough, also. They have a great selection on frames, and Dr. Patel helped maximize my insurance so that I was able to walk out of there without any major costs. The eyewash treatment was also amazing. My eyes feel great!
