I recently had IntraLASIK surgery through Eye Excellence, and I highly recommend them. I went in for my consultation in mid-December, and after I found out that I qualified, I was able to schedule an appointment for the end of January. They do all of their LASIK procedures on one or two Fridays each month, so your choice of days is a little bit limited. Other than that, everything went very smoothly. They explained the entire process up front in and provided as much detail as I wanted. They also answered all of my questions, and followed up the week before my procedure to remind me to get my prescription eye drops and use them the day before. The whole process the day of the surgery lasted about two hours, and it was completely painless. I havent had any problems since the surgery, and I can see perfectly! The only thing I wish they could have done differently is give me a copy of the images from my eye scans like they do at MRI clinics. For some reason they wouldnt do it. They also have two different waiting areas, and it gets a little confusing in there when they are crowded. I had to wait an extra 15 or 20 minutes during one of my follow-up appointments, but all of my other appointments went well, I cant really complain. Overall, I definitely recommend Eye Excellence to anyone looking to get LASIK surgery. They took great care of me.

Awful! I originally made an appointment with this eye dr. because they were listed as a full-service, preferred provider with my insurance (United Vision/ AKA Spectera). I waited an hour to be called back for my appointment. I used insurance for this visit and they insisted that my insurance would not cover an contact lenses for astigmatism (which I needed), thus they insisted I had to pay $150 contact fitting fee, which in the past has always been paid by my insurance. Come to find out after calling United to verify this myself, my insurance DOES cover contacts for astigmatism and had I known this, my contact fitting would have been 100% covered. Clearly, either the billing staff has absolutely no idea what is going on, or they are being deceitful to get more money. Just to top it off, they dialated my eyes during the exam, and thus I was not able to read my benefits, or call United vision, as I could not see well enough to read until 4 hours later after they had closed. The receptionist did not offer to help whatsoever or call herself to verify , and stated "you will just have to call yourself," leaving me no option than to just pay the $150 I knew I didnt actually owe. What a scam...please! Take your business elsewhere!

I arrived more than 20 minutes early, and was able to quickly verify all my file information at the front desk. I was allowed to wait until my scheduled appointment time in a comfortable room, but 2 patients came expecting to be feed "warm" chocolate chip cookies from a microwave. The days cookie supply had been depleted by 2pm. My pre-examination went well with a polite and thorough technician. She checked my visual acuity, my prescription lens accuracy, and measured the eye pressure after dilation. We went to wait to see Dr. Green, and only waited about 5 minutes. The doctor was thorough, efficient, and even showed me the internal photographs of my eyes and explained what the future outlook was for my vision barring any unforeseen catastrophe. We finished and went to be shown the lens options, but I elected not to buy new lens since there was not any real change in the prescription. We did discover that the "Crizal" lens coating was worn and showing signs of deterioration that could not be repaired. The optician was quite thorough, and found all possible insurance discounts for my lens purchase, but I still declined to spend over $650 for new progressive polycarbonate, coated lens. Good for another year.

It is difficult for me to describe the impact that LASIK has had on my life without sounding totally contrived, but I can honestly say that this surgery has changed my life. It is truly one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. Prior to surgery I was not a candidate for contacts and was stuck wearing glasses all the time. Besides the obvious hassles of constantly wearing glasses, I always felt like my face was covered. LASIK surgery has helped me regain some of my self-confidence. I have been a patient with Eye Excellence for a few years now and have yet to have a bad experience. The care that I received throughout the LASIK process is unmatched. Steven is supportive, attentive and truly took care of me. Dr. Green was able to customize my experience, and because of her expertize I am now seeing better than 20/20 three months post- surgery, and just in time for my dream vacation to Costa Rica! I look forward to taking surf lessons and knowing that the only struggle I will have is my total lack of coordination, and not how to balance wearing glasses in the ocean. I truly cannot thank the team at Eye Excellence enough for the amazing work that they do.

Horrible experience. I made an appointment for a simple contact prescription- I didnt even need to change my prescription, I just needed a valid prescription to order more contacts. I arrived early, filled out my new patient paperwork and waited an hour. A tech finally called me back and did the standard tests but then informed me that the doctor would have to redo all the tests just to make sure. Then I waited ANOTHER hour. I should have walked out. What is the point of having an appointment if you have to wait two hours? When I finally saw the doctor, I was fuming and she lightheartedly apologized for being late. It was very disrespectful. I dont care who you are or if you are a doctor with a tight schedule, my time is just as valuable as yours. Also, she changed the type of contact brand I had been using for the last 6 years without my knowledge (probably because they are more expensive) and I went home having lost 3 hours of my time and having to deal with contacts that I hated. Terrible experience. If you want a simple exam, DO NOT go here.

Amazing customer service! I am a somewhat new patient at Eye Excellence, moving there recently after my old place dropped my insurance. Dr. Odette had worked at the previous place so I knew I liked her and she was good with contacts. They worked with me through three sets of trial bifocal contacts until the prescription was just right and then set it up for me to order those through an online service. That was about 4 mos. ago. Recently, I flew somewhere on vacation and ended up forgetting to pack a pair of lenses. Since I had worn my glasses for the early morning flight, I was looking at a long week in a beautiful location without my contacts. On a whim, I called Eye Excellences contact specialist Keith Kardatzke who went above an beyond to UPS a pair of lenses to my vacation location, after checking to see if any of the local optical folks could help. Its hard to find that kind of service these days so I wanted to share it. You will not be disappointed if you use Eye Excellence. I just wish I had moved there earlier.

I had a 915 appointment and, being a new patient, arrived early, around 905. After filling out all the forms, I waited in the waiting area until 950, when I was finally called for my appointment. This was the first part, where the technician did a bunch of measurements and eye tests, and by the end of that it was 1015, an hour after my appointment, and I still had not seen a doctor. They had me sit in another waiting room... finally at 1035, if youre keeping track this is nearly 1.5 hours after my appointment, I asked how much longer it would be before I got to see the doctor. About 10 minutes later, they came back and said it would be about 10 minutes. Finally, at 1050am, 1 hour and 35 minutes after my initial 915 appointment and still no sign of the doctor, I just got so fed up that I finally walked out, with no apology from the staff. How can a doctors office expect patients to wait nearly 2 hours before they see people with appointments? Unreasonably horrible experience.
