I cannot say enough good things about the team here. Dr. Mary Green performed my LASIK procedure, and Stephen was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process! Stephen performed the initial consultation appointment where they do several tests in order to gauge your eye health and eligibility for the LASIK procedure. Because my vision was so poor, Stephen thought that I may not be a good candidate until he went through the ENTIRE scope of tests in the consultation appointment. I appreciate that he did not want to get my hopes up for this life changing procedure if I would not even be eligible, which is very common for people with vision like mine. My vision before the procedure was a NEGATIVE 10. When I wasnt wearing my glasses or my contacts, I could only see something that was about three inches in front of my face. Thats not an exaggeration. That is a literal measurement. I am still in awe that I have 20/20 vision. I am 25 years old, and I have been wearing glasses since I was 6 years old. I am still having to un-learn certain habits, like reaching for my glasses on the bed side table before I even get out of bed. In the scheme of life, I think that isnt a bad problem to have. :) I still cannot thank Dr. Green enough for giving me a new level of confidence that I didnt know I lacked; but more than that, I feel like I was given a second chance at life. I have also seen Dr. Matthew in some of my post-op appointments, and he is just the nicest guy too! Everyone here is fantastic! I would recommend Eye Excellence to every single person that is considering the LASIK procedure.

Place is nice on the inside, very crowded when I was there. I told the ladies behind the desk I needed an exam for contact and only wanted them to do what my insurance would cover -- including the fitting. Exam went well, go out to pay, they charged me $200. When I asked them how that could be because I specifically asked to not do anything my insurance wouldnt cover, they said "the fitting is $189". Literally the doctor came in and watched me put in my contacts, asked if they were comfortable, and that was it. In the long run I could have gone some where else and been covered by insurance. Ive been to places before that did the exams and fitting for less than the $200 fitting they charged me, WITHOUT using insurance. This is the type of eye mill that is in it for the insurance claims. I wont be back anytime soon.

I was referred to Dr. Mary Green by a co-worker and while interested in LASIK, had my hesitations around the whole experience. After meeting with several different members of the Eye Excellence Staff and going through the LASIK consultation with Steven, all my doubts and hesitations went away. I never waited more than 10 minutes for any appointment, all my questions were answered and I was given all the information I needed to make a decision on whether or not to go through with the surgery. Day of I was very nervous, but all the doctors in the operating room were friendly and kept me informed of what was happening throughout the entire surgery. I am now seeing 20/15 and couldnt be happier with the results! I will be recommending Dr. Green and her staff to everyone I know.

I arrived late to an appointment and was not seen for one and a half hours. I sat right in front of the receptionists (there were multiple) and I was completely ignored. I believe in customer service because I give extraordinary customer service. The receptionists were clueless and they were all very apologetic AFTER I WAITED AND ASKED FOR MY RECORDS SO I COULD TRANSFER TO FIND ANOTHER FACILITY. Terrible because this place is normally excellent, I dont know who dropped the ball but it was HUGE. I am not happy about this and I hope we all can learn from this terrible experience. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH DEALING WITH THEM! The doctors are great, however! SO SAD!

I was referred to Dr Green after a botched surgery in Amarillo that was followed by recommendation for cataract surgery from the same clinic. I did a lot more research on Dr Green than I had done in connection with the Amarillo doctor and had the cataract and LASIK procedures. Surgery was performed in two sessions, each went exactly as described. Results were outstanding, vision in damaged eye actually improved. I have since moved to Houston and continue to go to Dr Green. I am very, very pleased with results. My vision is stable, I do not need corrective lenses except for small print. Eye Excellence is a quality operation.

After my husband had his lasik done here last year; I decided it was my turn. I got to witness their great service and attention to detail from both the outside perspective as well as the patients perspective. Every person I have come into contact with at Eye Excellence from admin, to nurses and espescially the Doctors have been very easy and comfortable to work with. I had my Lasik procedure done on Feb 24th and within the same day my vision had improved and the results were amazing. And when I went for my follow up the very next day I already had 20/20 vision. I will be recommending Eye Excellence to everyone I meet!

I scheduled an appt with Dr. Matthew to get an eye exam. Im always very anxious when going to a Dr. for the first time, but Dr. Matthew and the staff put my mind at ease right away. Everyone was very friendly, the office was clean and inviting, and time was taken to answer all my questions. Ive had glasses and/or contacts for over 20 years. So, Ive been to a lot of eye doctors. This is by far the best! Eye Excellence is my new eyecare home!!
