I called the clinic but they never answered, the dental service is too slow due to the fact that for any reason your soliciting a dental appointment they make the appointment to do you a dental exam first. When if you already know what kind of dental service you need you make the appointment yourself. Plus you cant never make appointments on the phone because they dont answer you can only make a denal appointment if you go straight to the clinic the first day of the month which is ridiculous!! Like three months ago they used to call and remained you about any medical or dental appointment a day before now they dont do it. Bad, bad experience!

I have never had any real issues with San Jose. They will tell you up front they do not provide emergency services. Once you are enrolled and understand how the system works they are the easiest people to work with. They have rules and regulations they must follow and they do that scrupulously. I have been treated with respect and kindness every time I visit. Yes I have had disappointments every now and then but nothing out of the ordinary. They are good people to deal with. But - - that is my opinion. I know others will see things differently.

If you go here you are putting your life on the line. The staff, even the doctors, are literally just guessing. If you go anywhere else like: Ben Taub, Memorial Herman, or even Bay Shore for a second opinion; it will be the exact opposite of what they make up at San Jose. Go somewhere else with real medical professionals.

I dont have internet access. Obtaining an application was difficult for me because I dont have transportation. WHY couldnt THEY mail an application? I would have mailed THEM a self addressed envelope. But they stuck on YOU must pick up or download. :(

These are the rudest people that you will ever meet. The government should shut this place down. Theyre not here to help people they just want to take adavantage of people who are in need of help. All the five stars are from people that work there.

Some front office staff can be very rude especially one who does eligibility she is not friendly at all Im not sure of her name but she is the very heavyset one. Very rude definitely does not need to be working at a clinic like that one.

Great free clinic for those in need. The same doctors also work at Hermann, TMC, Ben Taub, Baylor and donate their time. They have great specialty coverage and resources compared to other free clinics where services are donated.
