The Conklin Clinic is the perfect place if you are looking for chiropractic care! I cannot even say enough about this clinic; it should definitely be rated one of the top chiropractors in the Houston/North Channel/North Shore area. First, the care is exceptional. I used to suffer from extreme headaches (ice prick headaches) and severe sinus and neck pain. I had TMJ as well. Thanks to chiropractic care, I rarely suffer from a headache. With regular adjustments I am able to live pain free, which is an amazing thing!! I assumed headaches were something you just had to suffer with, but thanks to alignment at the Conklin Clinic, I feel amazing! Second, the staff is very professional. The hours at Conklin Clinic are excellent for an educator/teacher. They are open late (to 6 pm) so I am able to go for care without missing work. The staff is courteous on the phone and answers any messages right away. You are able to get in to be seen quickly and if an emergency comes up, they try their best to accommodate you. Finally, I have to comment on the staff not just professionally, but personally as well. You are always greeted by Carries smiling face when you walk in the door. This same sweet lady answers the phone and greets everyone by asking about your life. Lori is just as personable. Samantha has been a great nurse, as have the other nurses working at the clinic. Finally, Dr. Conklin is awesome! He (and the rest of his staff) care about your life. They always ask about my family, my work, and even my puppy! I went through a pregnancy being adjusted and now that my baby is here, they always ask after him. I am not just a number/patient to them, I feel like I am part of the family. On a personal note - if you are pregnant, I recommend going to Dr. Conklin. I had an amazing pregnancy and very smooth delivery, thanks in large part to regular adjustments. I cannot imagine why anyone would NOT want to visit the Conklin Clinic. The care for each patient, as well as personal and professional demeanor, is beyond compare. I give them my highest recommendation.

Dr. Conklin was referred to me by a relative because of discomfort and pain I was experiencing following hip replacement surgery. Being new to Houston and Texas, I had no clue where to go or who to see. Dr. Conklins staff was extremely friendly from the very first phone call I made to setup an appointment. Being new to the area, I got lost on my way and Carrie was so helpful in guiding me turn-by-turn to get there. Dr. Conklin knew just from watching me walk in the door that I was in pain and something was seriously wrong. He took x-rays and after viewing them knew there was a problem. He suggested further imaging followed by a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. The ortho confirmed Dr. Conklins findings but stated additional surgery was not recommended. Dr. Conklin began an intensive therapy treatment and alleviated a great deal of my discomfort and pain. I can actually walk without a waddle and without pain. For that, I am so grateful!!! Dr. Conklin and his staff have a very genuine and sincere passion for what they do. They truly care about their patients. Not one time have I ever felt like "just another number"; and, I dont consider them "just another medical provider/office", but family.

Prior to visiting Dr. Conklin I have suffered from back and neck pain for over 5 years along with frequent headaches. I have visited three different doctors in efforts to resolve my issues and return to a comfortable lifestyle. However, I was adjusted and sent home to continue to hurt. Dr. Conklin was my last effort to finally feel better, and there or no words for the efforts he has put into assisting me. During my very first visit with Dr. Conklin he was able to pin point not one but three different problems that have been causing me pain. He immediately set out to find a solution. I was asked to come back two days later so that he could not only take a look at my situation, but he went over my diagnostics with a fine tooth comb, wrote out a personal treatment plan for home and in office, and gave me valuable information to help treat my issues. It has been three weeks and I am shocked at my improvement! My posture has improved, I sleep much better, and I haven’t had a headache in A WEEK! This is by far the best doctor and staff around. There is no friendlier, kinder, or more cooperative staff around. I highly recommend this office, and I look forward to my upcoming appointments.

Five years ago Dr. Conklin was recommended to me by a co-worker in the effort to treat the neck and back pain I had been living with for several years. I was a little hesitant about getting adjustments and going through the process that Dr. Conklin recommended, but Im so glad that I listened to his advice. He explained everything in a manner that I could understand and appreciate. Ever since my initial treatment, I would get adjustments every 4-6 weeks. A few months ago, I was in a bad car accident, and one of the first things I thought of was getting Dr. Conklin to assess my damages. Ive started a new treatment plan for the injuries I sustained in the accident, but believe with all my heart that my injuries would have been a lot worse had my body not been in alignment beforehand. The Conklin Clinic is definitely a 5-star out of 5 in my book. I have been using Dr. Conklins clinic for a few years. When my son started complaining about his back hurting. I took him in for an adjustment, but with Dr. Conklins expertise (MRI ordered immediately) we discovered he had a fractured back. Even the orthopedic specialist was impressed with Dr. Conklins immediate response and discoveries. He is currenly still under Dr. Conklins care. Dr. Conklin and his staff make you feel everything is going to be okay.

I have been a patient at The Conklin Clinic for over 3 years. Dr. Conklin LISTENS to me. This is very important to me and is rare in the medical environment of today. His caring attitude coupled with a vast knowledge of the human body is evident in his thoroughness for your well being. He CARES. The office staff is very helpful and easy to work with as well. I have been a patient of Dr. Conklin since November 2006. I have shared with Dr. Conklin my first visit was a life saving experience. The blood pressure numbers were extremely high. After the first visit, the numbers dropped dramatically. I see Dr. Conklin on a regular basis to ensure my neck and shoulders are adjusted to minimize any attack on my body resulting from work-related stress. It has been and continues to be a blessing.
