Our 4 year old, 7 lb little Daschund, Sammy, was cared for and loved on by Dr. Pratt and staff this week during an emergency situation. They helped bring our little guy back to good health and in recovery mode after he presumably ate something poisonous last week, causing constant vomiting and diarrhea. He was very dehydrated and lethargic so IV fluids were given for about 48 hours along with blood work and antibiotics. (Night time he was in the after hours clinic: Emergency Pet Care of Round Rock to continue fluids.) They were all so sensitive to our families needs, considering cost for us and really making things affordable. Dr. Pratt was also so very thorough in explaining every detail along the way. When I came to visit during my lunch break on the first (very stressful-emotional) day, Dr. Pratt brought Sammy into a room for me to visit with him and gave me as much time as I wanted while he was still hooked up to fluids. My husband and I cant tell you enough how grateful, thankful, relieved and blessed we are to have such a caring Vet! Sammy plays such an amazing role in our family and we are so happy to see his tail constantly wagging again!

I brought my dog to see Dr. Holmstrom because she suddenly started walking very slow on our walks. He wasnt very friendly and the only thing he did was listen to her heart, ask me some questions and said that she is just slowing down, getting older. I later found a good size lump on her back. Took her to a different vet and this vet did a hands on exam. Found out she has lymphoma and severe arthritis in her hips. This is the cause of my girl walking slowly. Was told that if Dr. Holmstrom had examined her, he would have found both things. Night and day difference between the 2 vets. I will not be going back to Dr. Holmstrom or recommending him to anyone. My new vet really cares about my girl, unlike Dr. Holmstrom.

I have been taking my dogs to this clinic for over 15 years, I can no longer stomach the Assistant at the front desk. Searching for new vet. If you can get past the assistant just to buy Heart Guard or ask a question, you should be okay. If you get stuck with the lady who is always grumpy at the front desk, your better off finding another vet or going to vet school yourself. RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have two cats which I bring to Hutto Vet Clinic for all their needs - from simple nail trimmings to diagnosis & treatment for kitty asthma. Honestly, this is the best vet clinic Ive experienced around Austin & Round Rock. Treatment prices are reasonable, and Dr. Pratt & her team are patient enough to explain whats going on and any options you should know about.

I have been using Hutto Vet Clinic for many many years, and they have always been great. Affordable, and caring. They call after each visit to check on the animals even if its for a standard physical. As of this point, we have 2 dogs and a cat, but take our kids animals there also.So they are our "family vet". Super service and compassion.

My new favorite vet! Just moved to the area and Ive been looking for a vet for my house full of critters. I was trying to get one of my cats set up for insurance and needed a physical exam done. Everyone was super friendly, my appointment started on time, the prices were totally reasonable and I look forward to going back.

After a bad experience at another nearby vet, we brought our then kitten to Hutto Vet Clinic. Our pets received attentive, compassionate, and affordable care. We now take all four of our pets there.
