This place is an absolute joke! I mean beyond a joke really. This happened to me a few years ago, but it still bothers me so much I just have to get it off my chest. My dog was basically dying in my arms. It was having convulsions and seizures. It was a boxer as well, so with a little research you can see that this sometimes happens to their breed. Either that or it got into something outside that I wasnt aware of. Anyway, I brought my dog in there basically on deaths door, hoping they could help. For one, they couldnt be bothered to even open the door for me to help me bring my 70 plus pound limp dog into the building. Another lady had to help. When I got in there, they barely looked at me. This frat boy looking guy with baggy pants ripped up on the bottom, mustve been fresh out of A&M, was just chatting it up with some other customer over what seemed to be pretty trivial. Finally, after moving my dog who was in intense agony by myself into a side room, I had to wait another 20 mins before they even stepped foot in the room. By the time he got in, my dog was splayed out on the floor in a pile of its own drool. The guy finally sees that my dog is about to die right here and decides to pretend to care. Now all this isnt even the most infuriating part. Get this, the guy actually had the nerve to insinuate that I had either given my dog weed, or left it out, for him to get into. My dog is dying and he asks me this. Im assuming its because Im young, and look like a hippie to some degree. The whole thing smacked of being stereotyped. Either way it was one of the most unprofessional things Ive ever dealt with In my entire life. He started saying things like "its ok, Ive done it too" and other ridiculous garbage. Honestly, it was so shocking it took me a while to even react. I should have let it be known how unprofessional it was right then, but this will have to be my closure to the whole thing. Plus, if you were to do any amount of research for you so called profession, you would know that weed doesnt kill dogs. Anyway, they take my dog overnight, and do what amounts to nothing except watching my him die in a cage. Then, giving him back to me the next day in a trash bag. Leaving me with a $500 bill for absolutely no help, and the added bonus of insulting me. Talk about adding insult to injury. This is like inception level insult right here. Also, I know other people who left their dog in boarding here. Long story short, they let their dog die in their care and didnt even notify them the whole weekend. Im guessing because they were off and couldnt be bothered, or just left it into there and didnt check the entire weekend. Did I mention how much of a joke this place is? Take your animal to Cannons if you are in Lindale. They are always amazing. Even with the new owners. Ive been there dozens of times since then. Never any disrespect. This particular incident was the first and last time I ever went to this nightmare of a "clinic". Hey, but their signs are always so cute and clever. Yay! Work on your actual service a bit instead of your signs and you might be able to get it together, or just go away. That would be a better option. Thanks!

If I could give this clinic negative stars I would. Before I explain about my visit I want to say the receptionist were very friendly and helpful. I went this week to take my two dachshunds to get their adult vaccines. I scheduled an appointment a week before. I showed up and very quickly went to the examination room. I waited for 40 minutes and the tech came in. She proceeded to tell me over and over again about heart worm preventative and how my dogs needed to be tested. My husband and I just moved back to east Texas from an area were we didnt have to worry about mosquitoes. I told her I understood her concerns and told her we would get that done just not that day. She then took my dogs individually to a room outside of the examination room to get their vaccines. So I didnt get to see a vet or my dogs get vaccinated, which really concerned me but I say anything. Both dogs came back from the back in good spirits. I went to the front and paid and asked the receptionist if I could get a breakdown of what vaccines had been administered and she printed them out for me. I saw a vaccine called Lepto on there. I had never seen that adult vaccine but I didnt ask about it. Later that afternoon my mini dachshund who is 13 pounds started throwing up repeatedly. After an hour she became stable. I found this to be very alarming but I thought she might have ate something that didnt agree with her and it had passed. That next morning I woke up to throw up and diarrhea in her kennel. I took her out and cleaned her up. I called another clinic to get advice. They told me she was having an allergic reaction to the vaccines. So I followed their advice of Benadryl and scheduling an appointment with this other animal clinic to get her checked out. On the way to the clinic she threw up multiple times in my car and had diarrhea. We got to the vet and my dog had diarrhea on the floor, on the vet, and on herself. She slowly started to get hives. She also started to swell in her feet and red veins were popping up on the insides of her ears. It was the most unnerving afternoon I have had in a long time. I had her tested fecal tested just to rule out that. She came back negative for bacteria and parasites. This is when I got to talk to the vet and she told me Lepto had been dismissed at her clinic. I asked why and she told me it is for dogs who stay outside who come into contact with wild animals... My 13 pound dog is the size of a squirrel!!! Why in the heck would she need this vaccine. I then proceed to ask the vet why her clinic no longer uses this vaccine and she said because it has very bad adverse affects. I was furious by this point. Lindale animal clinic could have killed my dog. I will never refer or bring my animals back to this establishment. My question is, is how does a vet not know what vaccines he or she is giving out. Obviously, a 13 pound overweight dog is NOT a dog that spends all day outside. $300 later (this is after her first initial vaccines) she is doing well.

If I could rate it negative, I would. I took my dog there today at 7:45am. She got out of heat last week. I took her to be spayed. They did not call me until after the procedure and told me I could pick her up between 4 and 4:30pm. They also informed me that they had to charge me extra because she was pregnant. I own two dogs, both female. Both of my dogs are inside dogs unless I take them out. They dont get out of my site. When I informed the lady of this, she insisted my dog was pregnant and told me that she was 30 to 42 days along. I asked to see the puppies. The lady responded, "they have already been disposed of." That they cant test to see if the dogs are pregnant prior to surgery. I call bull on all of this. Dogs produce hormones like a human thus it can be done with the same tests humans use. Plus, I know my dog was in heat last week, I have her bedding to prove it. The lady I offered to show the bedding to just insisted my dog was pregnant and gave me a deer in a headlight look. For $276.08, you would think they would take care of your fur babies like you would or at least seem to care. I will not be back to this clinic and I strongly urge others to take their babies to a place that actually seems to care. If your dog is pregnant they will just kill the puppies and not bother telling you until the deed is done. They will charge you for procedures that they did not do. They are in it for the money and not the interest of your furr babies.
