Horrible horrible horrible. When you first meet her, you expect the pregnancy to be the best and easiest ever... but when you actually choose her and she knows about it, she changes 360 degrees. After i gave birth ( c section ), I was in a lot of pain and trauma. My husband looked at my stomach and cringed and looked away. This was not normal especially because it was our fourth kid. I asked him what was wrong? He told me there was an abnormal bruise/burn on my stomach, above the c section itself. Of course i got scared, but the nurses said it was normal. So a few weeks later when im in the process of "healing", i notice my stomach getting worse and bruised and swelled and that i was getting a fever and my feet were swelled up. We went to dr patel and asked for anti biotics and she said "no no need of them, its normal", while my daughter clearly read online that these were the major symptoms of infection. So another few weeks pass by and we go back to dr patel because the condition had worsened and i wasnt showing any signs of healing. She looked at it and saw that it was infected and had been for a while. My husband got very mad because she had told us that everything was okay before. But clearly it was not. She gave me anti biotics and I took them and went back in for a checkup with her, she told me that it was not getting any better and that i had to go to the hosptial and maybe theyd consider re opening it. But get this, the infection was NOT in the csection, it was in the bruise/burn above it. So when i went to the hospital they had told me that dr patel and another doctor and to open up that bruise and take out some dead tissues, the male doctor had told me the earlier we knew about it, the less major the surgery would be.. and of course, that is dr patels fault. He also said that if i even waited a few hours then the dead tissues extend and could go to my intestines. This surgery was also a open wound one, so they would not stich it or staple it, so i had to sit there with a vacuum connected into the cut sucking out all the blood and puss and such. So of course i had to do the surgery. My husband did not want dr patel touching me, because (she said it herself) she isnt experienced. And the male doctor had done this type of surgery many times. But they couldnt do the surgery without patel because she was the major doctor. So after i get the surgery, i lay in bed for a while in sooooooo much pain. And every 2 days id have a nurse come to my house and clean it up. And i would be yelling from the pain, and my kids witenssed it all. Till this day i still have pain in my stomach and its only been a few weeks for me to be able to walk and clean. But there are many things i cannot do. DO NOT COME TO HER, SHE IS NOT EXPERIENCED AND SAYS SO HERSELF. SHE RUINED MY STOMACH AND I COULD NOT BE THERE FOR MY NEWBORN. COMPLETELY REGRETTED COMING HERE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!

This woman is HORRIBLE! My aunt went to her for a c section. She didnt do the surgery correctly at all. She was feeling horrible for about two weeks, her belly was all purple and yellow. She burned her and didnt give her any antibiotics to prevent infection. So she went back and visited her and she said she had an infection and gave her a prescription to take for five days, those pills didnt work at all so of course she went back. And dr Patel told her these exact words "Im sorry we cant do anything you have to go to the emergency" she wasnt experienced at all. So after she went to the emergency they told her she had gangrene which is dead tissue by an infection. If you want to be cared for as a patient, and trust this person youre putting your life in. I strongly suggest not going to dr. Patel. Especially if you have a history with c sections.

Excellent Doctor..... this is my first pregnancy in U.S., so far everything is going well.i was referred to this excellent doctor by a friend and i can confirm that i wasnt deceived . the doctor cares about her patients very well . A true friend of mine was pregnant last year and had a good experience with her, so didnt hesitate when she recommend her to me . Dr. Patel helped me to know my conditions, and at every visit she carefully listened to my questions, she answered with more details, and she always takes time with me to make sure she addresses all my concerns. The nurses and the staff are friendly. i will recommend her to any pregnant woman living in Irving area in Texas.

My husband and I are happy with the clinic and with Dr. Patel. As first time expectant parents, the Doctor and her staff have been professional, friendly and patient in answering all of our questions. The online patient portal is very convenient with the ability to view lab results and communicate with the Doctor and / or her assistants for any concerns you may have between visits. We definitely recommend the clinic and Dr. Patel to other expectant parents.

Dr. Patel is a great doctor with a contagious laugh. I have been blessed with a healthy pregnancy, but she always makes me and my husband feel reassured as we prepare for our first baby in September! She always makes sure to answer any questions we have, and I love that we have received literature, area pediatricians, and other general information to help us prepare in a timely manner for the birth of our daughter.

I would recommend Dr. Patel to anyone in search of an Ob/Gyn. She takes interest in what I have to say and answers all of my questions. She makes me feel like she actually cares about my health and my unborn childs health as well oppose to some doctors who just make it feel like its a routine. If I were to expect another child later in my future I know Id go with Dr. Patel again.
