Dr. Shazhad is great. Excellent bedside manner and very knowledgeable. The 2 star rating is for the staff and inability to get in touch with anyone at the office. Kingwood office is better, but spring office is terrible. Kingwood was able to fix all the issues that spring caused. The day before a procedure, I was trying to get some answers about billing, etc and could not get any person who could answer any questions. It rings one time and someone answers saying that its an answering service and they can take a message. From 9am until 3:15pm I tried to reach them. I finally cancelled my procedure and requested a refund for the prepayment I had already made. Its unfortunate because I really liked the doctor. In the future, I may try again with the Kingwood location, but never again with the spring location.

Peanut Butter

I was in the office on 12-5-16 for a H & P prior to a procedure. Dr. Shahzad spent at least 20 minutes with me discussing all possible unforeseen circumstances. He made sure I was aware and understood all the possibilities. He also discussed with me different possible weight loss plans, without making me feel bad about myself. He was very easy to speak with and his staff treated me very kind. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with a Gastroenterology problem.

During the summer I was hospitalized with colitis for 5 days, an extremely scary experience, the hospital referred me to Dr. Shahzad for a follow up. The staff was pretty awesome, whoever answered the phone got me in right away and the day of the apt I was in and out in an hour. Dr. Shahzad answered every question I had and really helped me to understand what was going on and what to do to fix it. Overall, both doctor and staff, I would highly recommend to any one.

Dr. Le performed a colonoscopy on my uncle & caught cancer just in time. He helped arranged the surgery & was very informative & professional. Please get a colon screening with Dr. Le, he saved my uncles life.
