I wish I had looked at Dr. Schaeffers reviews before scheduling an appointment! I had an extremely negative and unpleasant experience in his office. That is the exact reason I am going to take 15 minutes of my time and effort to write this review. Dr. Schaeffer’s office was the only one able to schedule an appointment for my immigration form within 2-3 days, so I picked them. Over the phone stuff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived 15 minutes earlier and they took my 300$ cash right away asking to sit down for "just a little bit". 1 hour 40 minutes later they performed 2 minute blood draw procedure and I was finally able to leave. I had to schedule another appointment in order to finish submitting the documents for the form. This time the only appointment left was weeks away, which made me wonder if that was not coincidental, since they already got my money and documents. And it was not! When I tried to call and schedule an appointment as a new patient, they said they had time available the very next day. Anyways I didn’t confront them about it, I decided to wait. When the day came, they called me 2 hours prior to my appointment and cancelled due to an emergency. We rescheduled for the next day at Cleveland location to which I had to drive almost an hour. I was perfectly on time again and the office looked empty which made me hopeful. However it took the girls at the front desk more than 30 minutes just to type my information in. To my surprise that was not the end of it. I waited for another hour before I very politely asked nurses how much longer I had to wait because I had to pick up my kids from a day care. I also asked them why they schedule appointments almost 2 hours ahead from when they can actually start. The stuff acted very irritated and closed the reception window right in front of my face. Frustrated and upset I walked myself in the doctor’s office trying to find justice and make him aware of how rude his personal is (maybe he didn’t know?) but he basically told me to get out and wait as long as they needed me to wait and refused to give me my money back. By the way, he was talking on skype when I walked in. He got really mad at me for walking in his office and confronting him about waiting time (by then it exceeded 2 hours) and threatened to call a police. To my surprise they did! A vary nice officer arrived right away and after listening to both sides of a story apologized for them to me (he didnt have to!) and was very compassionate and nice! There was not much he could do, so he just left after seeing that I am absolutely adequate and normal person, wishing good luck. They took two patients ahead of me just to come back at me, making me wait 3 hours total. During the visit Dr. Schaeffer insisted I needed to be seen by counselor or mental specialist. He asked me three times if I am a drug abuser and had mental issues in the past. I was very calm by then and tried to explain that you can not cancel, ask to come to a different location and make wait for 3 hours and then expect people to be happy, all in vein, him and his nurse strongly advised that I’m mentally ill and needed help…

very poor experience! I had a 10.30 appointment and got called into the office after an hour and a half wait. As I had to come back a couple weeks later to get my results I hoped to have a shorter wait. Unfortunately the same experience again and sat in the waiting room for almost 2 hours. The staff is friendly but the office takes too many patience at the same time so everyone is waiting for a long time. I will not ever come back to this office.

As a doctor hes great but his office is small, not enough seats, and be prepared to wait atleast 2 hours to see him. (With even an appointment ) Also ... they only take CASH! So be prepared to walk all the way down to the ER to the only ATM in 2 frickin buildings! Its very annoying when you have insurance and still pay alot and have to be so inconvenienced! TOTALLY RIDICULOUS

This doctors office is very unprofessional and the doctor does not care about his patients. We have been trying to get this idiots office to answer the phone to get an appointment but they never answer and when you can leave a message, they just will not call back. One star is giving them way too much credit- they deserve like minus 50!!!!!
