I did not have a bad experience, however when you take your pet in for an exam, or have to pay for an exam, you probably are expecting the Dr. To perform an exam. My dog broke a dew claw, took her in because we wanted to ensure she would be okay. We bandaged her foot ourselves for a day or two before the visit making sure to pad between the nail and our Danes skin to prevent irritation or infection. Thecdr. Took the bandage off and the pad that protected the nail from irritating her skin. Dr saidctherecwas really nothing to do and it would fall off so he put another bandage around the bottom part of her paw. The price to rewrap my dogs paw plus an antibiotic, just in case, was well over $100. Needless to say in two days we removed her bandage and her skin was rubbed bloody raw from her broken nail, he had not protected between the nail and my babys skin. So, I look at the antibiotics that were given and this bottle that cost so much was an antibiotic that my breed of dog should not be exposed to. Needless to say, I have not gone back. I think a vet should know the breed it vets and what medicines they are sensitive to or they should not see that particular breed, period. I was disappointed. Found another Dr. For my six dogs.

I brought my dog here to put her down. She had reached the end of her ten year life. It was time. They took her from me to put in a catheter and to give her a sedative that would keep her "calm and relaxed so we could say goodbye". I was immediately worried and asked - is it going to put her to sleep? No they said. No was right. They brought her back panicked, cross-eyed, panting and within a few seconds vomiting. I had to beg them them to hurry up and end it. THAT WAS MY GOODBYE TO MY PET OF TEN YEARS. No vet should let this happen. It was traumatic - not only for my poor pet - but I cannot help but replay the scene over and over again - wishing Id chosen to take her out back instead. Dont take your fur babies here. Please.

Services are good but the prices are ridiculous. I have $600.00 to have a 45lb dogs teeth cleaned. Had the same exact service performed at another vet, with arguably more experience for $200.00 and that included full blood work. I like the staff and if youre land locked to lake jackson, its good. Customer shouldnt be paying for fountains and flagpoles. Find yourself a farmer/ large animal vet with a clinic and save yourself some cash.

The entire staff goes above and beyond all the time! Dr. Suazo & Dr. Pella truly care about each pets well-being! They avoid un-necessary treatments & provide each pet with the appropriate treatment needed to care for that pet! I am greeted with a smile when I walk in the door, the hospital doesnt smell like a vet clinic (which I appreciate) & the process of getting animals seen is so simple and convenient!

Best vet and staff in the county. Ive been using Dr Suazo for over 9 years and wouldnt trust ANYONE else to treat my animals. They make you feel like family from day one. Dr Suazos mobile vet is awesome. One of my Yorkies has horrible separation anxiety and having him come to the house for her treatments is worth its weight in gold.
