Horrible!!!!! I took my daughter here after she complained of a bad sore throat. Her primary doctors office was closed. She was crying at home. I looked at her tonsils. They were so swollen they touched each other and had white spots on both tonsils. When I arrived a Crescent Medical Center, we were registered by the clerk. We waited for two hours before my daughter was called in for weight, height check and a questionnaire. There was only one patient in the waiting area, but the wait took two hours. After the weight check and questionnaire, we were led to a waiting a room back by the ER department. We waited an additional two hours before the "dr" came to see my daughter. He asked loudly whats the problem. I said my daughter has swollen tonsils and a bad sore throat. He burst with laughter and said " No seriously whats the problem? I told him again she has bad sore throat and big swollen tonsils. He then looks at my daughter laughing and said, "I have a patient here with a broken arm, another patient with broken leg and here you are with a sore throat." My daughter was looking at him confused. She had a piece of candy, that I gave her trying to sooth the throat The "dr" then says" Well she has candy she cant be too sick . He then checks her throat very briefly. He didnt use a light to look or take his time. He just told my daughter to open her mouth barely looked. He then makes sarcastic, crude jokes, with such a arrogant humor. He talked to me as if I didnt know anything. He then goes to try and describe to me how my daughter tonsils are shaped and that she will always get sore throat. He then tells me to just go home gargle with salt water or I can continue treatment there for $250 since she is not an emergency, He treated us so unfairly. He told me to sit a clerk will come explain to me the procedure. The lady that registered us then comes and says do you want continue treatment. I said YES! my daughter tonsils are swollen, she sick are they going to give her antibiotics something? She was crying when I first brought her in. The clerk then says well no we cant do anything unless you pay $250. My daughter is on Blue Cross Blue Shield. I thought we were being punked for a minute that maybe there is a hidden camera somewhere and we were being joked. I told the clerk, did we do something wrong. She then says no but your daughter has no emergency. I left upset, I felt disdain for that dr. I will NEVER EVER go back there. I took my daughter to a real doctor, her primary doctor the following morning . It turned out my daughter had severe strep throat, prescribed pain med and antibiotics and was requested by our doctor to stay home for two days from school. What a joke Crescent Medical Center is. Please DO NOT go there. They need to be closed AGAIN! If you go there they may send you or a loved one home for a sickness that may be hazardous and later that patient faces a fatality at home. You risk your life going there. I will be filing a complaint TODAY!!!

My first visit here was a good one in the radiology department people nice, friendly and considerate. But the speciality department is a joke if I have ever heard one theres one lady working there Isabelle and she seems not to be concerned by any means. I scheduled and appoint to see the GI appointment set for 8:30 then it was changed to 10:30 with any confirmation from myself no one called to say anything about the appointment needs to change, but first after standing in her face making the appointment a couple of days later I get a call to make an appointment for two weeks away I told the young lady I had an appointment already she was like oh ok. then two days before the automated call to remind me that was when I found out that my appointment had changed, I tried calling this place all week to get an appointment for an urologist because their website states that they have one no answer to this department I left several messages and even faxd them information about me needing to see an urologist so finally at the end of the week someone answers the phone and dont know what to say and Isabelle is in the background telling him what to day him being Deion.Isabelle told him to tell me they dont have a urologist, I dont know why Doctors are referring patients here they should stop this is a joke facility I promise I will make it my business that all the people I know that live in this area to never do here. I went as far as leaving the CEO a message about this situation and havent heard from them either, Never again I know youre not suppose to say never but never again will I go to Crescent Medical Joke Facility of Lancaster Tx

This establishment is an unprofessional, mockery, horrible example of how a real Hospital should operate. When they cant figure out whats wrong the Drs, and staff resort to name calling like theyre in highschool. Theyre good at taking a health issue thats serious enough to seek medical attention and turn it around to blame the patient instead of medically treating you. Ive never heard such name-calling. As I sat in the ER Dept. I was told things like, it was my imagination, I had anxiety issues, I needed to see a Phyciatrist, that what I was experiencing was only in my mind. This was before they even looked at me. The Dr spent maybe 2 minutes and decided I was a crazy female. How dare you! I got up and left against AMA because I didnt trust any so called Medical Professional there to treat me. I walked out in shock! Ill never come to this place again. Im new in Landcaster. Upon my arrival here I heard nightmare stories about this Hospital. I didnt pay that much attention until the behavior so many were talking about happened to me. Im going to find every outlet I can find to warn others to stay away. Dont waste your time or insurance on this wanna be health facility. They could learn alot from Baylor. Im in my 60s and Ive never experienced such unprofessional, rude, uncaring, ghetto medical workers. Does anyone at this Hospital even have a degree?

Recent stay after surgery. Staff is wonderful, I can tell they are team building probably thru William and Yolanda. Nurse call lights answered immediately!!! Nursing with humor from Nick and Michelle; diligent oversight of Nina, Henderson, Jackie, Erica, Forest and others made tough circumstances lighter. Was very happy with ICU and PT care also. Surgical team on their toes, wise decisions in emergency. Dr staff quick to intercede but may need better follow through. There are 3 minute orders, 30 minute orders and today...dont let a 30 minute become hours. Only problems were with confused dietary selections bc of my many medical limits. Communication would have helped. The pharmacy system needs improvement to anticipate typical needs better (cold sores) and have sufficient medications on hand or RN with override role. And there were ac problems in my room but not in other areas hospital. Keep up the great care, everyone.

OVERLY HORRIBLE.! I have been here for just about 3 hours. When the "Doctor" came in he immediately started to fuss at me because I came almost 5 months ago because my foot was bothering me and they had to cut my toe nail off, which I guess I should have gotten in my car and drove 45 minutes away to a closed office. Then as I proceeded to call my mom to see if she had gotten discharged because I was going to go somewhere else he told me I was acting like a little kid and hurried up and rushed through my exam only to tell me that there wasnt anything that they could do and I basically had to wait whatever it is that I have out. Normally they have all females pee in a cup especially if you are presenting flu like symptoms to see if you are dehydrated but I got nothing but a freezing room and an UNPROFESSIONAL "Doctor" who was throwing out insults at me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE AT ALL.
