Nice rooms but no one comes to check on you on 4th floor. Was here as a CASH patient for elective procedure and experience wasnt great on nights. I was trying to get better and do the best thing for me. Nurse wouldnt remove my catheter even though I could walk and go to bathroom. I called the doctor who never responded. IV fluids almost dry. She was in my room at 8 and didnt come back to assess pain or check on me until 11 but they do "every two hour rounds". I had to suffer with the catheter because she didnt want to call the doc. I am an ER and ICU nurse and if my patients need or want something I do my best to accommodate them within reason. Catheters can cause infections. Had to call the doctor at night. Also rang the bell and nurse didnt come. Even the doctor was upset over that. Day nurse was excellent. But dont want to be here on nights!

Wonderful nurses and techs on the second floor. They are top notch. However, the rooms in this hospital are TINY. It wouldnt be too bad if you were in for a couple of days. But for a prolonged stay, it is tough. The patients head is right next to the sink. The one chair is under the TV, so forget about the patient being out of bed and watching anything. When I visit I sit in this chair and look out the door to the room. When doctors come in it gets very claustrophobic. Visitors have no where to be. We have asked from day one to be transferred to a different hospital in the complex and we are told no room. Im not buying that. The sink has been stopped up since day one. They tried to fix it once, but evidently they cant. Again, the staff couldnt be better.

Great staff. Attentive and courteous. Most of them have a great sense of humor, which helps. Theyre very accommodating, but BS isnt tolerated. Good. The rooms arent huge, but this isnt the Hilton. Patients are here to get better, not grumble about the lack of HBO and a garden tub.
