I had a dermatologist do a shave biopsy on a mole on my stomach which came back as dysplastic. Because of this diagnosis, to be on the safe side, it was recommended that more tissue be taken out to ensure that all abnormal cells were removed. No offense to my dermatologist, but since this scar would be on my stomach right next to my belly button I was concerned about the aesthetics of my future scar since I still wear bikinis and tend to keloid when I scar. This removal would include having to remove tissue all the way to the fat layer and would require stitches internally and externally. I opted to look into having a plastic surgeon remove this dysplastic mole. A gentleman I knew through business referred me to Dr. Lipton because Dr. Lipton had done a similar procedure on his daughter and said she had excellent results. Dr. Lipton provided a complimentary consult and was very reassuring about how he would treat my case and the steps he would take to ensure I had a pretty scar. I had the procedure done in January and even though I was a big weenie (really apprehensive about having skin cut out) he was so patient and had great bedside manner and even made me laugh! Ive been back for 3 or 4 follow up visits to treat the scar cosmetically so that I do get the good result that we discussed and the scar keeps getting better and better. I know this process takes time but Dr. Lipton has been so patient and helpful and is committed to achieving good results. I just really appreciate his time, consideration, the service his office provides and the excellent quality of care he has given me. In a time where customer and patient service seems to be diminishing at a rapid rate, it is very much appreciated that he and his staff have not lost sight of the ultimate goal: taking good care of patients.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Lipton and his staff. Our youngest daughter had septum issues and always disliked the shape of her nose. She was scared, hesitant, nervous and sweating thinking about surgery, but the moment Dr. Lipton walked in the exam room she instantly felt at ease. Hes so easy going and funny, that she felt a bond with him the moment they met. He answered all of her questions, explained the surgery in detail, and put her mind at ease. It turned out that her septum issues were much more involved than originally expected, and surgery was a bit longer than we thought. However, Dr. Lipton never charged us anything additional and was literally on call the entire first night as he helped monitor the bleeding and pain. We never felt alone or concerned, as he was always on the other end of the phone! For the next few weeks he had her laughing as she went through the painful recovery and removal of the packing. The best part of all though is that no one notices the surgery, because he did such an amazing job of reshaping her nose…it looks SO natural. She can breathe better too, which of course is what we were striving for to begin with. His staff is always pleasant, very professional and friendly. We’re truly going to miss them now that the healing is just about complete. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lipton for any surgical procedure…he’s simply one of the best human beings we’ve had the privilege to meet!
