I have been seeing Dr. David Grice and Joseph for several years. I have never had a problem with Dr. Grice or Joseph until my husband went to see them for a mole on his right ear. Dr. Grice "froze" it and said it should fall off within a few days. After several weeks it did not fall off and my husband went back and saw Joseph. Joseph took a sample of the mole and sent it off to the lab. The next day we received a call from Joseph that the mole was stage 4 melanoma and he sent my husband to a plastic surgeon for removal of the mole and lymph nodes. Praise God the plastic surgeon got all the melanoma and my husband is doing fine. Because Dr. Grice did not diagnose the melanoma when he first "froze" it, my husband will not be going back to see him. My husband has gone back to see Joseph as required until recently and because of the rudeness and incompetence of the office staff he refuses to even go back to see Joseph. We have had difficulty dealing with the office staff on many occasions. We are lucky enough to have two insurances and we dont have to pay a copay. Each time we finish our visit with either Dr. Grice or Joseph they insist on collecting a copayment and we have to remind them we have two insurances. When we call to make an appointment they are very rude and say we have to have a referral from our primary doctor. That should be their job to get the referral, not ours. We made our appointments in plenty of time for them to get the referral. Today I had a terrible experience with the office staff and Joseph. I called in a prescription one week ago and was told the doctors office had to get prior approval for my prescription. I called twice yesterday to Dr. Grices office to find out the status of the prior approval and was told they were busy with patients and would have to call me back. I never heard back from them so I called this morning. I was told they were busy with patients and would call me back. I insisted on holding until I could talk to Joseph. I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes and when the office staff came back on line I was told they would have to call me back later after seeing patients. I told them I am a patient waiting for a prescription for a week and I wanted to talk to Joseph. I was placed on hold for another 10+ minutes and another woman came on the line. She said she was told to answer the call and didnt know what was going on but just to answer the call. I tried to explain to her what I was waiting for but she would not stop talking. I finally told her to "shut up so I could tell her what I was waiting for". She put me on hold and I waited another 10 minutes and Joseph finally came on line. I tried explaining to him the situation and all he was concerned about was my telling his staff to shut up. I told him I called twice yesterday and he said there was no message on my file that I called. He then told me that they were waiting for my insurance company to respond to the request for a prior approval. I asked why the person, Chris, that I left two messages with yesterday didnt tell me that. He said there was no record of my phone calls yesterday and they were busy with patients and could not just stop and answer me. I finally said to forget the prescription and I fired Joseph. I really hate firing Joseph because I liked him but I cannot continue to go to a doctor that the staff is rude and incompetent. I know this is long but I want people to see that a long time patient is extremely dissatisfied with this office.

Dr. Grice is a CREEP! As a new patient I walked in and proceeded to the sign-in window. The woman sitting in front of the window looked at me several times and never even acknowledged that I was there. Finally said I have a 4:00 appointment and tried handing her my paper work I had filled out before coming in. She very angrily said Ill be with you when I can. After about a 20 minute wait a woman pops out and asks me to come back. She was semi-friendly so I felt a little better as she asked me several questions before leaving the exam room. About 15 minutes later a male assistant walks in and is very friendly and explains hell ask some questions and he examined me briefly without disrobing even after I told him my melanoma was all over my body. As nice as he was the exam was rushed and very brief and he said the doctor would be in shortly. The doctor finally walks in right past me without even saying hello or intruding himself. This Grice guy takes the prize of any doctor Ive ever experienced as the most rude and hostile and the worst bedside manner Ive experienced in my 56 years. He never examined me, would not listen to any of my history or previous diagnosis and said hell decide what my condition is. Talk about a god complex!!! Then he told me to come back for tests. As I approached the desk to pay my co-pay and set up another appointment, the same woman who was so obnoxious was even worse this time. I just told her Ill call back and walked out in a complete daze after what just happened.

I been there a few times. The first few times I went for myself and seen Joseph Love the visits. On another hand my daughter has to see Grice he is a total butt. I dislike talking bad about someone but that man has 0 compassion. Its been two years (I took that long because I didnt want to deal with his attitude unless i had to) since I took my baby there and her eczema started flaring up recently and I decided to go in and deal with his attitude. But after this appointment today I refuse to see him anymore. I refuse to walk in his office Dr. Grice should be reported seriously he is rude, disrespectful, and anything else I could think of. His staff are rude as well but I think it has to do with his attitude being contagious. I can understand if you have one or two bad reviews, but this man reviews is proof in the pudding.

AWFUL! I went in for my 4 month old son. I let the staff know that I was not in treatment. I was there for testing and diagnosis. Dr. Grice came in after 1 hour wait and chose not to listen to my reasons for visit. He took one look at my son (with his clothes on, mind you) and wrote a presciption. All while I explained to him we were not there for treatment. He told me to come back again. I asked him, why come back when this can be diagnosed now. He walked out of the room, cutting me off. I told them I would never ever return to that office and have my baby looked at by someone so callus. He does not care about his patients. hIS TIME WITH US WAS LESS THAN ONE MINUTE. WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH HE MADE. THe more you visit, the more money he makes. AWFUL!
