We adore Dr. Hinton and have been using him for at least 10 years. Unfortunately, the level of customer service when you are not standing in front of them is abysmal. You can hardly get a hold of someone and when you leave messages they are not returned. I waited for 4 hours for a call back regarding a SAME DAY appointment and when I called them, I was informed the doctor wasnt in that day and wouldnt be for the rest of the week. In 4 hours nobody called me back to tell me he wasnt in? Now today, I have been on hold for 15 minutes (theres a timer on my phone) trying to get a refill on a prescription. I just want to tell them we changed pharmacies. Im actually writing this review while on hold. Which is now for 18 minutes. These arent the only instances, either. One time we waited for 3 days for a call back regarding a refill only to be called late Friday afternoon, when we couldnt even try to see the doctor before the weekend, and told no, the doctor was on vacation all week and the doctor filling in for him wouldnt refill it. My husband was in terrible pain from a sinus infection and was asking for antibiotics. He has been to the doctor many, many times for this as his sinuses were crushed in an accident when he was 4. This is just unacceptable. In sick of this and will be seeking a different physician. Still on hold, by the way. 23 minutes. Just got switched to an answering machine. Hung up.

Was recommend to go to this place by another clinic and went there last minute to check and see if walk ins were accepted. The front desk lady said that the walkin doctor wasnt in on vacation. Completely understandable, however there was no one in the waiting section and the parking lot was pretty empty several spots in front of the door to park. The customer service side in me thinks that any of the 3 desk front desk ladies 2 of which were having a private conversation, could have ask me questions on why i was there or what i was looking for which was a yearly check up simple basic but instead said nothing and i just walked out. I have no idea how they are as medical care takers but their service side is lacking

Just dont bother with Dr Hinton... He gives off the impression he wants to take a nap and your health issues bore him to death.. its time for retirement Sir... I had asked over 5 times for referrals to specialists and he always "forgot". The constant phone calls to do his office staff and his job just became mundane.. I am disappointed in his lack of care... he writes out a script and sends you on your merry way, it even an evaluation or exam.. he just cannot be bothered I had high hopes, unfortunately he just couldnt get it right

Service level of this Family Physicians is below zero, because you cant even book an appointment. My wife has called the reception now three times over the past few days and every time they have promised to get back but nothing so far. This kind of customer service level is not acceptable by any means. Please use some other Family Physicians provider who is able to serve their customers.

Son went for ultrasound test and its been a week and no one has called back to let us know the results! Wife called and left vm and still no one called back ! Previously Dr Hinton gave a steroid medication for poison ivy right after he was treated for fungal infection - this I was told worsens the fungal infection to go deeper!!!

My immune system is stronger than ever! Her staff is patient, kind, and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Melita Williams.

We love Inova Family Physicians and see Dr Melita Williams. Both her and her nurse Veronica are super friendly and great health care providers. The practice has an in house lab and imaging room. That certainly makes it easier when we need blood work or x-rays. Id highly recommend them to anyone!
