I went to see Dr. John Washburn, for a severe sore throat, headache (migraine), ears hurting intensely. I had a fever the night before of 101.5. Anyway, the nurse asks my pain level from 1 to 10 and I say a 10. I was ready to cry I hurt so bad. Dr.Washburn says I will give you an antibiotic because it could be strep. I will also give you acetaminophen 600 mg. I started to cry because I knew my pain level and that was not going to help. So he actually said to me, (a 60 year old retired Kindergarten Teacher of 30 years), "So, Nancy, youre telling me you want narcotics?" This doctor was terribly rude and ?" And I said, "Of course!" Still, no bedside manner and no understanding whatsoever. He did finally give me 5 mg. of hydrocodone. I am sure people come in just looking for narcotics as he put it but I never have. I will never go back to him again. I would so say he is the worst doctor I have ever been to! Several months ago, I called him because I had a stomach bug. I was having diarrhea and vomiting at the same time. I couldnt keep a sip of water down. The receptionist informed me I would have to come in. I told her I could not even leave the bathroom and I just wanted something for nausea. I was taking Imodium but it was not working. She said sorry, he cant give you any medication unless you come in! Again, so rude and uncaring. I dont want anyone else to have to pick a doctor that could care less about your feelings! I have a handful of wonderful doctors, I think my gynecologist would have probably seen me for strep and he is amazing. I will ask one of my other doctors for a referral for a general practitioner. If you know a good one, please let me know!

Worst service! Never recommend any patients to visit this clinic. Their staffs expectations for patients to see Physician Assistance (PA) by default for walk-ins. They were not aware that when patients would like to see the Doctor by default. I called an hour early before arriving there as walk-ins. I mentioned clearly about my health issue.. and I would like to go different clinic if they dont have any appointment. They answered as if they have several appointments for that day. After an hour wait, their staff told me that only PA is available but not Doctor. If they would have told me the same over the phone, I could have gone to different clinic. The worst part is after 2 hours waiting period as well, Doctor was not available and no relief for my health issue yet. It was totally waste of my money and time. Hope this clinic should not mislead in order to grow in this DFW area. Actually I should give minus points for their service. Unfortunately there are no negative points to post... Just found that they have claimed additional cost as injections to my insurance which they have not treated me for. Very worst service!!!

Cant say enough great things about Dr. Washburn. I took my 3 year old to him for a respiratory infection and Dr Washburn really took the time to find out what was wrong. He gave him a strep test, rsv test and when both came back negative he had him take two breathing treatments and in between came in and checked his vitals and discussed what it could and gave us just the right meds. He even got us in for a check up the next morning at 8. I know that if we had gone to our previous Dr. He would have just sent us to the emergency room and not have taken so much time to treat us in the office. Just love him and his staff.

This office is SO great. Theyre always so pleasant and hard working. They usually get everything done in a timely manner and offer to help in any way they can. Dr. Washburn is hands down my favorite doctor EVER. A year ago I switched my insurance and they didnt cover this office and I actually paid more monthly to switch my insurance so I can keep going to him. The nurses always ask me personal questions and try to build a relationship with me. I didnt have much luck with doctors before and I am so glad that I came across this office. I never want to leave :)

Absolute lack of customer service. I tried to make an appointment and called 4 times, left 1 message and kept getting put on hold and transferred without even the courtesy of a simple apology for my inconvenience. And when I gave a simple feedback they were just downright rude!! The doctor has great online reviews but the staff here is the worst! I really hope the doctor realizes the significant loss to clientele that he faces due to his poorly managed front office.

Last year they closed their office due to snow (3 snow flakes) but didnt bother about telling their patients. I drove all the way there and they were closed. No notice on the door or anything. The sun was shining at the afternoon not a single snow flake was left (when my appointment was). Administratively they are terrible. Scheduling was a pain and complete lack of communication. Seems to be a trend in Frisco with General Physicians...

Absolutely horrible last visit. Background info: Ive been sick for the last week. In short: He spent two minutes with me, just looked at my ears, noses and mouth, told me I just need to try an over the counter medicine and they tried to charge me $86 FOR AN OFFICE VISIT. Dont waste your time or money here. Not to mention i had to call them 3 different times, even with leaving a voicemail, just to make an appointment.

I have been a patient of Dr. Washburn for two years. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr. Washburn is very knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients. I am a police/swat officer in north Texas. Dr. Washburn keeps me going from upper respiratory infections to severe back issues that come from the job. Thanks Dr. Washburn and staff, I appreciate all you guys do for your patients.

The office must have read previous reviews and learned. The staff was kind, open with communicating availability of physician vs. physician assistant, and got me in for my sick visit quickly. Other than the office tempature being chilly, I have nothing bad to say about this office. Dr. Washburn was honest with my care needs including changes in my lifestyle I need to make.

Everyone at Dr.Washburns office is excellent! The ladies in the front ar always friendly and very knowledgeable and the nurses are great! Dr.Washburn is alway very calm when explaining whats going on and Is very receptive when you explain your symptoms and how you are feeling. 10/10 would recommend.

Glad we switched drs theres nevert much of a wait time and the staff is great with us and when we have to wait with toddlers!!! They have long hours and open on saturdays which works well with our schedules!!! Kelly and Carla really rock the front desk as well and the are quick with lab results

The front office staff is not at all friendly. They do not greet you or have a very welcoming attitude. Dr. Washburn is a great doctor, but he needs to have people at the front desk who want to be there. If this was our practice, I would report this behavior.
