My mom is a medicaid patient. Back in March she was admitted to Centennial Hospital for seizures. After her release from the hospital she was going to take medications to help with the seizures. A few months back her primary care physician had dropped her because of insurance changes. So, during her stay at the hospital, after calling about 50 other doctors, i got a hold of this clinic and spoke to Britney. She confirmed several times that the clinic took Medicaid and would take my mom. But, she said i had to call after my mom was released from ICU. When my mom was released from ICU i called the clinic and gave them my moms information and we scheduled the appt. On the day of the appointment my mom and aunt (my mom is disabled by the way and has to have someone with her for doc visits) went to the clinic. My aunt then called me because the front desk people were rejecting my moms insurance and said they could not see her. So, I called Britney right away and she said there was a misunderstanding and that she would talk to the doctor. She spoke to the doctor and they said they would take her and honor their word. We were all so thankful because like i mentioned earlier my mom NEEDS her seizure medications and therefore it is imperative that she sees a doctor. Doctor Thakur was nice. A few week later I called because I was finally able to find a neurologist for my mom but needed Doctor Thakurs office to fax the referral. I was appalled by the lack of help and empathy i received. The nurse I spoke to said she did not know how to deal with Medicaid referrals and yeah....by the way we should not have taken your mom in the first place because we dont take Medicaid. I asked to speak with Britney and they denied me that. I asked if that meant i had to find a new primary care physician for my mom and the nurse said in a very condescending way "I dont know how else to explain this to you". I tried calling a week later to speak to Britney and they said she would call me back....it has been 4 weeks since. I think the doctor is good but unfortunately who we deal with are the nurses and the front desk people so I recommend you stay away from this clinic. The front desk people were rude to me, my aunt, my disabled mother and my cousin. I am not one to easily get offended but not treating a person right just because she is a medicaid recipient is not ok.

she is the worsest employer you can ever work for. to start off with she is veryv cheap and has no type of education, she walks into the office and doesnt even say goodmorning to her staff. she pays very cheap and only has 3 medical assistants in the whole office she over works them and works them for 82 hours biweekly which she should pay 2 hours of overtime but she does NOT. She also does NOT provide any lunch break which its illegal to have an employee working for more then 9 hours and not even give 30 mins of break. she prescribes hydrocodone to people that dont need it and shes awared of that, she just does it for the money. she also racist she takes preferance in indian people than anyone else she would double book schedule, prescribe pain medication, wave copays and balance for Indians but not for her other patients. she violates a lot of HIPPA and OSHA regulations and she doesnt care. shes the worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she humiliates her employees, she is just full of total crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVEN her own patients say they dont know how she even has an office!. THIS IS JUST A FYI SO ALL HER PATIENTS CAN ACTUALLY SEE HOW BAD OF A PERSON SHE IS, NEW PATIENTS ITS BETTER FOR YALL TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER PCP YOU WOULD REGRET COMING INTO THIS UNPROFESIONAL OFFICE, WELL UNLESS YOUR INDIAN HAHA

I been going to Dr. Thakur since I located to Texas it was a nice small office with competent staff, they all to seem to work together back in 2014, but since she has moved to this office, the Staff dont keep the billing straight and the staff complains she dont have any medical Insurance for them, how are you a doctor and know the importance of insurance, and the staff that work for you is without? Shes a good doctors, but have to wrong people around her in that office. She need her old Staff back.

They went out of their way to schedule my mother in law Dora H. Mom usually will not go to the doctor and Dr. Thakur, Heather and the rest of the group were wonderful to her. We both were very satisfied. The reception/waiting room was warm,clean and very comfortable.

Dr Thakur is most best dr my mom is 92 years old i have know her when she would be on call for other drs now my mom goes to her molly heather michelle are so nice they do their job iam so thankfull that my moms goes to her
