I have been a patient at Lakeside vision and optical for 3 yrs now and I MUST say that the staff knows me pretty well by now. I initially went there thinking I would just get reading glasses because I was tired of taking my current generic readers on and off. Dr. Moon took time to explain to me the benefits of progressive lenses and how I could wear contacts in the summer! I left very happy! My next visit I met Dr. McPhearson I admit I was not liking the idea of seeing a new doctor, but Dr. McPhearson quickly changed my mind being patient with me going through several trials of trying out lenses. I kept saying I dont want to take up all your time trying to figure out the right lense and she told me "as long as it takes to get you in the right lense then thats what we will do!" The office staff is just as patient, Ashley a contact lens specialist is always accommodating to my needs, Checking out with Tracie is always fun as she is always smiling and asking me how things are going. I appreciate the feeling of being a VIP each time I go in the office. Thanks to the entire office staff and your practice for changing my attitude about all vision offices were just concerned with the bottom dollar. I recommend to anyone come join the family!!

Managed by all lady associates, I visited Lakeside Vision & Optical on a sunny afternoon for regular eye exam; the office is brand new, pleasant and well maintained, equipped with all latest technology. The front desk madam was very courteous and welcoming. There were not much paperwork and just asked the Eye Insurance and Health Insurance. After waiting for 5 mins, the associate Tyara guided to check my eye pressure and to get my family medical history. She also explained all my question very patiently. After few moments, Dr. Blythe McPherson took the measurement of my eyes. She also took time to check the eye health and the nerves, pigments etc. She explained all the questions and concerns in detail and took good care during that time. The payment section was also very smooth. The optician was not present, so couldnt able to check the glasses there. Although they have very limited variety of range of eyeglasses. Im very happy and delighted with the whole office experience and scheduled appointment for my wife also. The whole visit almost took 30-45 mins. Thanks to all Lakeside Vision staffs for making my visit wonderful and pleasant.

I hadnt had an eye exam in several years and had been experience eye pain after staring at a computer screen for hours on end. I was recommended to Dr. Moon and called for my first appointment and they were able to see me in less than 48 hours. While I was waiting for my appointment to begin, I began looking at frames and was immediately helped by someone. He tried several frames on me so in case I would need glasses after seeing the doctor, I already had a head start. Shortly after gazing, i was called back for my appointment, which went just as smoothly. The tech was fantastic and Dr. Moon was as well. She was patient and explained each step of the appointment to me and how my new glasses would help with the eye pain. After finishing up the appointment, I went back out to choose frames and was completely taken care of. I was given a mirror and handed frame after frame agreeing or disagreeing with each pair until I found one in my price range and style. My appointment was a great experience and I thoroughly enjoyed my many conversations with all of the staff who helped.

If you enjoy quality care with state of the art equipment, this is your place! From the check in to check out, everyone in the office was attentive, professional, and friendly. I ordered glasses from Rosa. It was very busy but she took the time to acknowledge me and I looked at the frame options while she worked with another customer. She was knowledgeable and patient and assisted me with selecting just the right frame. When I returned to pick up my glasses, she remembered me and provided excellent care to ensure the glasses were prepared correctly. Great experience! I returned yesterday to take my teenage son for his first official eye exam outside of school. He was not having any sight issues, but because of the comprehensive exam, I wanted to ensure he eye health. Another fantastic experience! Paula and Tracie are so friendly and start the visit with so much personality and light heartedness that you automatically feel comfortable. I am so blessed to have found such a wonderful location for our eye care needs. I highly recommend them for all ages!

Lakeside Vision and Optical is a really great experience, and these Doctors and their colleagues know their stuff! From the initial call (just yesterday), they worked me into the schedule on short notice. In less than an hour, they gave me a careful and complete exam, with the newest gee-whiz equipment; every step of the way was carefully explained by Ashton and Dr. McPherson. I really learned a lot, and this was after having spent the better part of the day in the ophthalmology department of a leading area teaching hospital. One thing we all hate about the annual eye visit is is this better, or is this better; 1 or 2? Or 3 or 4" Who the heck can tell. With this new state of the art equipment, the guessing is gone and you are done in like no time. Everyone there is so friendly, helpful and they just made it a great experience . And, oh yea, I almost forgot: these capable professionals are also all absolutely beautiful. Go see Ashton and Dr. McPherson; you will be glad you did!

I would remind readers that Rahmans review below concerned the eye-wear staff, not the optometrist staff. My own contact with the eye-wear staff has been limited, but I have found them to be quite welcoming and friendly. As for the optometrist staff, I have been a client of Dr. Deborah Moon at Lakeside Vision and Optical for well over five years now, and I could not be happier. She has approached every one of our appointments with a friendly attitude and a professional demeanor. At no time -- not once -- have I ever felt rushed or confused or pressured to purchase something, even when my situation was complicated. In addition, her staff has always been welcoming and friendly: I have never had a bad experience at their office. I most heartily recommend Lakesides services to anyone who lives in this area.

I chose Lakeside Vision over 10 years ago when I worked in West Plano. Dr. Turner left the practice, and I now work in Arlington, so I was hesitant to come back with a new doctor and the inconvenient location. I had always had positive experiences so rather than risk a new office closer to home I decided to come back. The office has been totally redone and is spacious and inviting. It seems all of the equipment has been replaced with the latest technology. The staff was professional and very friendly. The service was efficient. Dr. McPherson was excellent and very honest. Another positive experience so I will stay with this practice despite the long ride. In fact I will recommend this office to my wife, who has experienced less than stellar service at an office closer to our house in Dallas.

Dr. Moon and her staff were nothing short of excellent. I had researched Dr. Moons practice online, so this was my initial visit. I was most impressed with all aspects of Dr. Moons practice: Aesthetically pleasing facility, Friendly, Service-Oriented (and Client-Oriented), Very Accommodating, Professional, Thorough, Personable (real), Sincere, Broad spectrum of services, and Interactive. I highly recommend Dr. Moon and her warm, professional staff! Note: I had an unexpected visit there two days later (minor emergency) where I once again received impeccable service. Dr. Moon went out of her way to evaluate and address the issue I was having. Both of my visits have been very positive, upbeat and rewarding.
