I made an appointment a good three weeks or so ago for my ten-year-old stepdaughter, and the office called an hour and a half before her scheduled appointment today canceling on me, saying that they do not accept her insurance. We are in the process of adopting her, but until then she can only have coverage through CPS Medicaid. When I made the appointment I gave the office her Medicaid number so they could run it and see if they accepted it. They did, and said we were good to go. Her eyes have been hurting her and causing her headaches. If not for the negligence on behalf of the office I could have started looking for another office to take her to weeks ago, instead of her suffering these past weeks waiting for her now nonexistent appointment. I asked the receptionist if she could refer me to an office who takes her insurance and she could not. Canceling so last minute is highly unprofessional, rude, and disappointing.

My wife and children love the amazing selection of frames at the Contact Lens and Eyecare Gallery. Weve gotten everything from Ray-Bans (the classic Wayfarers and Aviators) and Nike to Michael Kors to Tag Heurer. A few years back, we drove down to the North Park Mall in Dallas because we were told that its the only place to find Tom Ford frames. NOT TRUE! We found them right here in Frisco, and this year my wife and I both got pairs of Tom Ford progressive lenses and pairs of sunglasses. Everybody asks where we get our glasses, because theyre hard to find. Well, this is the place. Another bonus is Doctor Darlene Jones has a great "bedside manner" and the office staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Keep it up guys!

Place either has some internal issues or people that just dont care. I went last year and still havent gotten a phone call to check on the trial pair of contacts. I also know someone that had the same problem, but only this place charged the insurance, but never got back in contact with the patient to get them their contacts. I am not sure but its either an oversight on the business or they are just doing insurance fraud. Doesnt matter to me but it is shameful that you cant even take care of your clients that are trying to get contacts from you. Hope that you have better luck in the future as I will not ever go back here or tell anyone else too. I will actually tell them to go anywhere else but here.

My experience ended on the rude phone call from this office. I never had a chance to meet a doctor, even though my husband gets his eyes are here and kart time he spend close to 1k on 2 glasses. The girl who called me after I scheduled an appointment had an attitude with me over the phone. She said that I need to call my insurance and straighten out with them. Ive never been to the eye doctor this year and have very good insurance and coverage. When I asked to explain what was the issue, she said "I apologize you dont know you insurance benefits!". Not going to even come to this office. If you cant be professional over the phone, how do you expect people to come and give you their business!

Dr. jones is AMAZING!! Very professional and in tune to any areas of concern. Wait time was little to none, and insurance verification was already done before I walked through the door. The staff was very friendly and welcomed me immediately upon entering. After exam, they showed me all their frames while another ordered my contacts. They were very knowledgable and fashion forward and honest with the different styles and looks and what fit best for me. needless to say, I will be returning yearly for my exam, contacts, and glasses purchase.

I give this business 5 stars because of their service and friendliness of the staff. Staff is very knowledgeable of the products they carry and the service they provide. I have been coming here for years and that level of services has never decreased. They are like family that you can talk to about all your vision needs from computer glasses to daily wear. I have been a patient at the Contact Lens & Eye Care Gallery for several years. Dr Jones and her staff including Adam and Clarke always make it a great experience and are friendly and professional. I travel a lot and these guys have sent me new glasses across country to make sure I wasnt without my "eyes"! They also spent a lot of time getting my prescription sunglasses just the way I wanted them. Im sort of picky and they made sure I got exactly what I asked for. Good service deserves recognition.

Dr. Jones was great. However, her optician Clarke is a piece of work. He refused to release new prescription even though they were getting paid by my insurance. He started getting into a stupid argument with me. I called my insurance and shared my experience and the EyeMed supervisor was surprised at the ridiculous behavior of Clarke.

Friendly staff and doctor. Nice offices. High tech equipment for exams. Very little wait time. Great communication. This is my first trip to an eye doctor in many years. I put it off as long as I could. I am glad I found a great doctor close to my house. I will be recommending Dr. Jones to all my friends.
