I have to agree with the first review on this one. I have had great eye insurance for the last 10 years. I have never had to pay out of pocket for any of my eye exams. AFTER my insurance paid their part of my exam, the left over charges were $300 that I had to cover! That did not include the glasses and lenses that I also purchased. They have a nice new place with lots of fancy new equipment and tests...and guess what, they are going to try to run you through all of them and overbill you for it. I have eye insurance, not a discount program (I know the difference) and as she was going over my invoice the lady kept saying after my insurance "gave me a little discount" on this line item, and that line item.... Yea... its not a discount...its that they charge triple the going rate and insurance will only cover a portion of what these jokers are going to charge. Ill never go back, and recommend that you not either.

DR DANNY MALONE IS THE WORST DOCTOR IN PLANO. HE DOES NOT TREAT HIS STAFF WELL, NOR HIS PATIENTS. HE IS OUT FOR MONEY TO PAY FOR HIS NEW BUILDING HE JUST PUT HIMSELF IN AND CANNOT AFFORD. HE WILL REQUIRE YOU TO DO SPECIALTY TESTING THAT IN MOST CASES IS NOT NECESSARY BUT HE IS ABLE TO BILL YOUR INSURANCE AND THEN CHARGE YOU WHEN IT GETS DENIED. HIS STAFF IS ALSO NOT PATIENT ORIENTED. THEY DO NOT OFFER THEIR HELP WHEN YOU WALK IN THE DOOR. YOU HAVE TO APPROACH THEM TO GET ANY SERVICE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR BAD PATIENT CARE AND POOR SERVICE THIS IS YOUR OFFICE.

I would not be still flying for a living if it wasnt for Dr Malone. When I suffered a retinal detachment he took me through the entire process from surgery to recovery and working with the FAA to get me back in the sky. He personally saved my career and that of several other professional pilots. Dr Malone is without question the best eye Dr I have ever worked with. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you really want to take care of your eyes and if your vision is important to you there is nowhere else that you should go!

I went to Vision Source Plano for the first time today, and the doctor and staff were so nice and welcoming. Dr. Daniel Malone was very friendly and made you feel comfortable. He took to the time to explain anything I didnt understand, and I didnt feel rushed. The staff were amazing as well, and they made me feel like I had known them for years. Jill, especially, was so easy to talk to. I cant recommend this place enough!

Dr Malone and his staff are some of the only people I have met in a long time who actually know what customer service means. After I was referred to them after an extremely traumatic optometrist visit, I have found my eye doctor! I drive out of my way to continue using them because they make me feel like a valued customer. They even remember my name. I would highly recommend the entire staff here at Vision Source.

I dont know what the people below are talking about. Dr. Danny Malone is one of the best doctors Ive ever been to. Ive never been ripped off; I dont think Ive ever left the office paying more than 15 bucks. Dr. Malone always takes the time to describe the changes in my prescription. Im changing insurance currently, and my number one criteria is whether or not this office is included under the coverage!

As with what everyone else said, this place is a complete ripoff. For me, they chose obscure products that seem to be the most expensive possible, and cant be covered by my insurance, which was the only reason why I went to them in the first place. The only other doctors that take it are on the other end of town or out of town, and Im just going to go to anywhere else from now on.

I have purchased 5 pairs of glasses from Dr. Malone and plan to continue. Dr. Malone gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. Was very courteous and explained everything very clearly and in detail. He answer all my questions and I did not feel rushed. Vision Source had a good selection of frames and the technician helped with my choices. I will return.

Very helpful for people who need glasses and want a wide variety. Dr. Danny Malone knows what hes talking about and wants to help the patients out as much as possible. His staff sat with me for an hour and a half until I got my first set of contacts on my eyes!
