How anyone can give this place 5 stars is beyond my comprehension. There is no way a legitimate patient seeking ER care from this facility could rate this location highly. The 5 stars on here already make me highly suspect as to how genuine they are. I was helped here a couple months ago (though using he word "help" is a bit of misnomer, more like "reluctantly seen"). Complaining of severe chest pain I was walked back into a room where I sat waiting for several minutes. Finally a couple technicians walked in who barely spoke to me and begun doing their assessment of the situation. These two individuals seemed nice enough but some urgency on their part would have gone a long way instead of nonchalantly taking their time and speaking in some other language. I honestly believe it must have been a solid 15 minutes before a doctor came in, of which became the absolute worst part of this visit. I can understand the need to keep calm and ask questions in a deliberate meaningful slow manner, however; the rate at which this guy was going I would have been dead on the floor if it ended up being an actual heart attack. I was astonished how after each question it was as if he was receiving instructions on what to ask next, almost as if he were listening to a how-to-access-heart-attacks recording. It was absolutely mind-boggling how slow and dispassionate this doctor was being. I honestly believe I could have received better care at a CVS care center then what I received here. At the end of my horrible ordeal here, I was giving a GI cocktail (which didnt do a thing) and a pro-tonic. I left there still in intense pain and ended up driving to a real hospital that night. In the end I knew I was going to receive some kind of bill but not what came through the mail. They no joke billed my insurance $7,500 dollars (which I imagine my insurance company laughed at) and billed me $1400. They are absolutely out of their minds if they think this is in anyway a justified price for the amount of work and care they provided. Im no doubt stuck with it but I had no idea that there are SCAM Urgent Care facilities out there. Do NOT go. Do NOT even walk-in. Run away. There are two other urgent care facilities nearby that are not that far.

I liked it at first, but when I found out they gave me antibiotic (Levaquin 500 mg) for my acute Bronchitis, I learned that the drug is not good for me, It could have caused me damage to my heart coupled with to the Heart condition I have, and the meds I was taking. I gave them a printed list of all my Meds I was taking. This I carry in all our cars. After 4 days of taking this drug, it seemed that my wife who also was not getting any better, and was diagnosed with the same that I had. She also gave them a list of her Meds. She also is a Heart patient. They gave her a "Z" pack which did not do her any good, nor the cough meds, Tessalon Perles 100mg. We both went to our County Clinic, for employees and retired employees the following Monday (day 6). Here we learned that the antibiotic for me was dangerous and the Z pack was not good for my wifes ailment. We are doing much better now. We would not recommend this place to anyone or similar ER.

DON"T USE THIS SERVICE WITHOUT GETTING A PRICE UP FRONT! We took our daughter there for a sore throat. The doc in the box took her temperature and looked in her throat said she had a throat infection and billed $1,264 for less than 5 minute visit! I spoke with the billing lady and she said "Well the Doctor coded it as an Emergency Visit, there is nothing we can do.." Oh, dont bother calling their billing number, its a 3rd party based in Georgia, they have nothing to do with the West Houston Medi-crooks. Called my insurance company and they agreed I have no legal recourse as I did not ask before they provided service. There are tons of other Doc-In-The- Box urgent care centers, give these guys a miss.

The people are great, the service is quick; Te billing is RIDICULOUS! I went with Aetna insurance for a CT lung scan, $74; My family and I had to switch to Cigna insurance (similar coverage); I went for a CT scan of my brain w/o contract. Doctor bill to "read the CT scan" alone was $73 out of pocket, ok, not bad; Then I got the facility bill - $703.07; This was without contrast! I will no longer be going or taking my family to this place EVER again. I shouldve taken my doctors office advice when she told me people were complaining that their billing was 4X higher than other surrounding places that are urgent care and Xray facilities that have the SAME services!

My visit was great, went here for some care from a snake bite and all was good. What people dont get is this is an EMERGENCY ROOM and they will charge you as an ER. This is not a doctors office. Dont be surprised when your bill is $1000+. I knew this when I went here but I have insurance and I paid my small deductible and thats it. if you have an injury that needs immediate attention, this place is great, but not the place to bring you kid who may have the flu. go to your regular doctor. Remeber, things are Cheap, Fast, and Good Quality but you can only have 2 out of 3. if you want Fast, Good Quality care, its not going to be Cheap.

DO NOT USE - BEWARE - went in for a stomach bug. Asked if they took my insurance, which they did. In 2 minutes they took my blood pressure, told there was nothing to do except wait it out, and gave me a prescription for TUMS ... $1300 bill for the clinic and $750 bill for the doctor ... over $2000 for 2 minutes!!!! My insurance covered me for $300 amazingly enough ... still $1700 in the hole. After numerous back and forth phone calls, letters and internal reviews they still think we owe them everything.

Took my boyfriend to this ER after a recommendation from a friend last month. We were immediately brought back to a room and my boyfriend was seen quickly by the doctor. Everyone was very nice. The doctor and nurses were great. Dr. Nguyen explained everything very well, great bedside manner, and made us laugh during a very stressful situation. Overall very happy and will recommend to all our friends. Thank you!

Had the worst experience after hurting my leg at my job. Everything was to be filed under workers comp, however this place still sent me bills, even after SEVERAL conversations that it was to be billed at work. They even sent a collection agency on me, even after I had told them multiple times it was to be billed to my employer. Terrible, terrible place.

My daughter (2) needed a couple of stitches in her head from a fall. Nurses were great, desk was great, Dr was terrible. He was rough, and when snipping the last stitch he freaking cut her with the scissors and she needed another 2 stitches!!! Super expensive, charged us $1100 with insurance.

The service was fine and nothing outstanding. The good part is how close they are to the house and they have great staff if you have an emergency at 3am. We took my daughter here late at night due to excessive vomiting and she was diagnosed and taken care of by the staff.
