One star is a high rating. Ive been a patient here for just under a year. First visit proves challenging to schedule as they never answer the phone, I actually dropped in to make the appointment, Dr Gurrikonda was ok but not very engaging. Reviewed labs and renewed meds. In September I tried for 3 days to make appt before calling a sister office and making a complaint. Eventually got an appointment and saw Dr Guttikonda, she ordered labs and dismissed my complaints of extreme joint pain, rapid weight gain and generally feeling rotten. She referred me to my pcp. Turns out my labs were terrible, caused by a virus contracted in Puerto Rico. Transferring to another doctor who required I arrange to have my records transferred. I was told that I would need to pay for them unless the new doctor submitted a request on the news doctors letterhead with my signature. They have no written policy in this its just their "customary procedure". This was again in person as you cant get them on the phone. I requested the office manage contact me and instead received a call from the receptionist and no improvement in this mess. Poor care from the Doctor and abominable service from the staff has me angry enough that I will complain to the State.

If I could go lower than one star I would! The staff doesnt return calls and could care less about a call. You make an appointment and they send you to the wrong office. As far as the dr she does not listen and all she cares about is the almighty dollar. If you are sent here by your primary care doctor as what you did wrong because obviously they want you to get the worst care possible. Run, run fast away from this practice!!!!

punctual and professional staff, Dr herself was very informative and thorough, carefully explaining all my medications. Would definitely recommend to others in the future.

Dr. Guttikonda is the best Doctor for Diabetes, and the Staff is wonderful.
