I went back today at 8am after just getting off a busy 12 hour shift and waited 7.5hrs. I was seen at 240pm. 20 minutes of that were spent in a cold room unable to drown out the sounds of his visit next door. I could hear the patient and him going back and forth, he sounded clearly flustered with them, they were repeating themselves and talking slow and he loudly stated OK OK OK as if he were overwhelmed, most of what he was saying seemed to just rush to a quick diagnoses and even in my opinion badgered the poor girl to find an easy one after picking apart a few things she said. She started to get pretty loud after that and I thought oh no, I dont want to frustrate him. I know what my issue is after 25yrs . So I tried to be a good patient and not overwhelm him, seems that was already too late. My issue was not kosher to him the minute he walked in the door, he asked me tons of questions one after another and then tried to bait me into his box. He started the consult clearly demonstrating he was looking to change up my previous diagnose of 25yrs and then wondered why I reacted in a defensive manner. He said "feel free to find another physician" after I expressed I didnt trust what he was attempting to do here. I still tried to cover my bases as quickly as possible, hoping he could be reasonable but he was too ready to push me out. Asking where my previous doctors were and what year each, as if I change them often. As if I had no backup to defend myself. Though i had all my scanned records ready on my tablet dating back to 2003. He had no interest in viewing them. Yet wanted to refer me to repeat the evals. Ive moved a lot, but was hoping for a permanent doctor. Though I was already weary of the Dr after I saw and heard the way he practices. Its doctors like him that make me hate to go to the doctor and dread it for days prior. But hey thats what I get for trying to get in to see someone right away, now I feel way worse than before. He will attempt to emotionally manipulate the diagnoses he wants to treat, out if you. This doctor does not trust his patients nor listen to them. He also doesnt take into account how environmental factors and obligations can make a patient appear other than baseline. High blood pressure? It is an environmental factor? I was talking a bit fast but I wanted a nap before work again. If he cannot diagnose you in 3 minutes he does not want you as a patient! Is that what makes a good doctor? Oh and dont offer your tried and true diagnoses, or opinions, he knows best, either that or another doctor you saw for 2 minutes does. He has to maintain control, like all of the doctors with bad bedside manner. Otherwise you can go in and 5 minutes later come out of the office with something that can severely effect your life in a negative way. If a patient tells you the sky is blue and it is actually blue, and they have proof, why is it so hard to accept that without pushing back? Oh because that might be the harder course of treatment for the MD. He only wants the kinda cattle that will lead itself to the slaughter. I sincerely cannot understand where these good reviews are coming from. I thought the front desk was excellent and the doctor uncaring, probably irritable from not having lunch and also willing to persuade himself the easier course of action is ethical because he can prove to himself it is appropriate, even insofar as to argue and demean the patient and refuse to see records you brought. Hey, I only heard him with the other patient and me but boy... Never again will I go there. Not that the stench in the trailer or dried feces on his toilet left much to be desired. I feel sorry for the MDs that think so highly of themselves they lack appropriate standards of care. It shouldnt always be about the ego, money or archaic ideas. FYI, he was off about nearly every doctorish thing he said. It is clear he doesnt keep up on research. And I am certain he only wants $$ before he retires. He was heartless.

RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF! Today, (December 1, 2015) I was not contacted by any of Dr. Drogan’s representatives despite six attempts in contacting a staff member, and leaving my contact information on their message recorder. I contacted a representative late that afternoon. I greeted and informed him I was potentially a new patient and wanted to set up an appointment with Dr. Drogin. At that very moment, the male receptionist tone of voice changed, (I suspect due to my slight accent) and with an attitude, I was asked who my insurance provider was. When I politely provided that information to Dr. Drogin’s staff member, he, still with an attitude, informed me he was going to put me on hold. I accurately perceived the representative had deliberately put the call on hold indefinitely. After a ridiculous amount of time on hold, I disconnected the call, and called Dr. Drogan’s office to confront that staff member. He unapologetically, arrogantly, and with an attitude tried to justify his decision of putting me on hold by stating "he was alone." Nevertheless, he made no attempt to assist me afterwards. There’s a blatant pattern of discrepancies in these reviews regarding Dr. Drogin’s staff. Approximately 70% of the reviews are complaints regarding the doctor’s staff. The first impression is the lasting impression. Dr. Drogin, you might be an awesome doctor, however, your staff is killing you!

I had been seeing Dr. Drogan for 5 years. He had been well aware of all the issues I had been facing in my life as a result of my ex wife. A few weeks ago my ex made a 2nd false report with CPS claiming that I was using pot. She has been trying to remove me from my childs life for years now. CPS showed up at my home unannounced. They interviewed me and asked if I would do a drug test right on the spot. I agreed and drug test came back negative for marijuana. The test came back positive for Angetamines because I take Addreall for ADHD as prescribed by Dr. Drogan. Ive been on this medication for 8+years now. The CPS case worker asked if I could sign a medical release to confirm that Dr. Drogan prescribes me this medication. I signed the form and agreed to have them send it to my doctor. After CPS completed their investigation they dropped their case however now Dr. Drogan is refusing to refill my prescription for no apparent reason. Hes cut me off from a medication Immediately and Im going through withdraws now. I have zero energy all I want to do is sleep. As a doctor he should know that is medications have negative effects when stopped cold turkey. This doctor is reckless and careless yowards the well-being of his own patients.

Dr. Drogin has been my familys psychiatrist AND primary care doctor for years now. On the medical side - Very knowledgeable and really sympathizes with you when youre feeling all sick-like. Hes extremely helpful in prescribing medication to make you feel all better-like. ;) On the psychiatrist side - Again, VERY knowledgeable and understanding. You dont feel rushed and he really seems to care. Every time I check in with him, were discussing whats going on in my life and adjusting my meds accordingly - thats sincere personalized care. Know in advance, however, his wait times are ridiculously long...seriously. That being said, there are a couple of perks to consider: 1. After you sign in, you can leave and theyll call you half an hour (or however long) before your turn comes up. Very nifty if you live nearby (If not, there are shops and restaurants down the road). Just ask for your wait-time and give them your cell number. 2. WIFI IN THE WAITING ROOM!! sweet, sweet wifi. Bring your iProducts :) 3. He accepts walk-ins almost every morning which is great. Sometimes, you just need to be seen that day - for medical or psychological reasons. The staff, however is kinda hit or miss. Roll the dice, and good luck!
