For starters let me clarify I had to give 1 star because it doesnt let you give 0 stars. This is the worst childrens clinic Ive ever had to deal with!! They get a zero for professionalism 0 for hospitality 0 on effectiveness beacuse they make careless mistakes regarding presciptions their staff is sloppy at best and arent helpful. I dont recommend this place to anyone for their children. Weve had to wait over an hour and half to be seen(only after bringing it to their attention that people after us and have come and gone) my sons prescription has been "misplaced" more than once and sent to the wrong location 30 miles away from we actually live, how does that happen?! Especially when the doctor asks where he sending it prior to leaving the exam room... I have little faith this clinic actually cares. They asked me to fill out the same paperwork in the beginning more than once, which leads me to believe their record keeping isnt up to par if Im constantly filling out the same forms. I took my 2 year old in yesterday for flu like symptoms and a high fever. The doctor Daniel Trevino was pleasant and did a good job diagnosing my son and didnt mind all my questions. Thank you doctor Trevino. After we left I drove to our Walgreens to pickup my sons prescription, it wasnt there.. big surprise they sent the prescription elsewhere. Ive been on the phone all morning trying to find out where it was sent and if they could correct the mistake on their end. its taken numerous phone calls and being on hold an average one 25 mins each time to finally get some answers. Its now after 1 pm the day after his appointment(3 hours shy of 24hours) and IVE FINALLY managed to get to the bottom and fix their mess. This isnt the first issue Ive had with this clinic but this time takes the cake. Im currently in the process of finding a new doctors office for us. I hope you find this helpful.

Okay.Let me start by saying that today was my first time going to this office, due to insurance troubles that caused me to move offices. After going to this office, I have never missed my original office more. When I got there, the front desk was being handled by 2 people who seemed brand new and had no clue what they were doing, which was really frustrating. They had to turn around and ask for help at every question. After being called back to see the doctor, the nurse that took me back was really great (I wish I remembered her name), and once I saw Dr. Hilliard, she was great too. It was the front staff that really got me going. I stood at that desk for a solid hour trying to pay my copay. First they claimed I hadnt changed my PCP, which they found was incorrect. Then they tried to charge me 2 different amounts that were WAY over my copay! After waiting more, one of the people (wish I got his name) came and told me there were internal issues with my insurance (shocker) and he thinks Ill only have to pay my copay. Makes me wait another 20 mins for him to come over and point to me and said nothing but "bye". What? I get up and ask him why Im not paying now, and he just continues to wave and say bye, hurrying me out the door. I cannot believe after waiting so long he practically shooed me out the door with no explanation. Worst experience at a doctors office ever. The two stars are only there due to the cleanliness of the office and for the kindness of both the nurse and doctor that saw my daughter. But the front staff recieved zero stars. Get it together and stop wasting peoples time. Dont go to this office if you have other options unless you want to deal with constant issues with the incompetent, rude front staff.

Stay far, far away!!!!! Dr. Salinas is horrible. So we brought my daughter to see dr salinas because she had a stomach bug. For four days she was vomiting and wouldnt eat and complained about stomach pains. Her doctors visit was covered on our insurance, so we thought, ok why not. Obviously she had gastrointeritis. We knew that, but we wanted to go to the doctor to get something prescribed for the stomach pain, because she was really suffering and for many days. So we go to our doctor, we wait for two hours, even through we had an appt., finally get in to see her. We told her my daughters symptoms, she said, she has gastrointeritis. Ok, no big surprise!! prescribe us something to make her fell a bit better, please. Next, she takes out a cotton swab and shoves it down her throat, then she walks out the door saying quietly as she is now out the door that she is going to send it to the lab. My husband and I looked at each other and commented that what she just did was completely unnessesary!!!! My daughters throat was normal, not red at all. if there was every suspicion of a sore throat the doctor would simply open up her mouth and taken a look, no lab tests!!! Well, today we got an $80 bill from the lab where she sent that unnecessary throat culture and $18 for a strep throat test!??? Our insurance does not cover it. I feel like this is completely injust and we are being taken advantage of. THEY JUST ADD ON ALL THESE EXTRAS TO MAKE MORE MONEY!!!! I am done with this doctors office. finding a different one today.

The only thing good about this place is the wait time to see the doctor was under 30 minutes. This was our first time at this office and as a nurse I have to say this is one of the worst offices I have ever been to. While waiting for Dr. Salinas to come into our room I could hear speaking about me in the hallway to the other nurses. The nurses explained to her by daughter was in need of adhd meds but the scheduling was too far out and her prescription was almost out so they were just informing her I would be asking for a sooner date. She laughed and said I dont even think I want to even bother going into the room. Wow! So when she finally graced us with her presence she asked me questions regarding my daughters prescriptions...the question to he exact what other medications does your daughter take besides singular? When I mentioned ALL her meds she said I didnt ask you about THOSE. Mean ing her adhd meds. She sat she type and she typed. Did a very short basic exam on my kid. Said she would be calling some meds in and left. What happened to caring for your patient and answering concerns for the parent? She obviously had no interest. I should have asked her why shes a doctor she is doesnt even care about the mental/physical state of her patient.

THIS IS THE WORST PEDIATRIC CENTER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! First - The staff is rude and unresponsive. My experience with this.....I brought in a peice of paper from my childs day care that needed to be signed. When I asked for the paper back, the nurse literally told me "no". Excuse me? No. Yeah...you read that right. Second - There is never any parking. Each and every single time I have taken my child for an appointment, I have to spend at least 10 minutes waiting for another person to leave so I can get their parking space. Third - The wait is rediculous. Normally, if it is 15 minutes after your scheduled appt time, the nurses find the doctor, give you a reason why there has been a delay, and give you a time frame as to when you should expect to be seen. This common courtesy in none existant here. Dont expect to be seen within an hour after your scheduled appointment time. You may be taken back to get your vitals within that timefram....but you wont get to see a doctor until at least one and a half hours after your appointment time. So if you enjoy a rud staff....limited parking...and have nothing but time to kill....be my guest and go to this pediatric center. If you are a normal human being with kids and a job, do yourself a favor....go somewhere else.
