Had an 8:40 appointment and got there ten minutes late. Walked in and the window to check in was closed so I lightly knocked, no answer, second time knocking and still no answer. I waited five minutes then knocked but this time very loudly. Front desk opened the window and asked to see my drivers license and insurance card. I sat back down and waited for about five minutes until front desk lady called my name and asked me to give her my husbands date of birth and such. She then proceeded to notify my that Dr. Sveta Singh, could not see me because she was currently in a meeting. As she was telling me this I glanced over and saw Dr. Sveta standing inside the office talking to another front desk lady. By this point I was upset because the front desk did not tell me about the ten minute late policy rule and lead me on by taking all my information and assuming that I would stay and wait another hour till Dr. Sveta got out of her supposed meeting. I told the front lady why she failed to mention ten minute policy rule, took all my information and then assumed I would wait there for another hour. Front desk lady just said, "I dont know but we still need that information". I shook my head and walked out. After I got in my car I called back and asked to speak with the office manager. I was on hold for twenty minutes then front desk lady picked up and said the office manager was in a meeting with a client. As I drove off I quickly thought to myself that I should call my insurance and tell them I never saw the doctor and for them not pick up the bill. My insurance said that unless the doctors office did not disclose that to me that they would not bill them. After I got off the phone with my insurance I called the doctors office and spoke to Jackie who was rude and told me that my they would not bill my insurance and pretty much lied and try to justify her coworkers horrible customer service. I will never go back to Family Health South Texas or recommend any one to do so. I have also heard from word of mouth that Dr. Sveta is not personable and gets irritated easily.

The staff really really sucks I hate to say it too busy talking about what they did last night and who were there with . instead of taking care of the customers caught a ball my x-rays keep putting me on hold do you know where to look for my x-rays or nothing I had to look for my own x-rays and figure out what happened the doctor is very good doctor but the staff need to be replaced completely

I regret ever coming to this office. The staff is very poorly trained and unprofessional. Ive had to wait over an hour to see a doctor; the office is always running behind and billing with them is a mess. Its also very suspicious how 3 doctors left this practice within 2 - 3 years of starting to work here.

Very bad experience with arbitrary changes in in-house policy that will leave you hanging while the Dr. takes 2 week long vacation. Basically, a Drs office with no doctor on staff.
