Historically, I have not enjoyed going to the dentist, but that has changed now that Ive met Dr. Jones. I am a new patient at the Medical Center location. I was lucky enough that a Google search for dentists near me had him at the top of the list! In the past month, Ive been in several times, first to get a crown put on a molar, and then to have a cavity filled. Both times were out of the ordinary from previous dental experiences Ive had. I was very concerned about having the crown put on as it would require more work on my mouth than Ive ever had at one time before. Every part of the experience was quite pleasant. I dont know how, but the shot of lidocaine didnt even hurt! He works quickly, and I was out of the office in what felt like no time at all. The cavity was maybe the quickest dental procedure Ive ever had done. I was in and out of the chair in a little over a half hour. The dentist I used to see would easily take twice that amount of time. Again, no pain whatsoever. None. I dont know how he does it, but hes great. On a personal level, he is interested in my life, asking questions and remembering my responses even a month later. You can tell he cares about his patients. Finally (but certainly not least of all) the office staff is great! They work so hard to make sure that everything is taken care of, including helping me with all of my insurance questions (which has typically been a difficult task for me, for whatever reason). They make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. Susan, Janae, and Dawn have worked alongside Dr Jones and, like him, work quickly, effectively, and are just very nice people! Again, I was lucky enough to find a great dentist here in San Antonio. If youre looking for someone, I promise you, this is the place to go!

Dr. Jones is excellent - finding a good honest dentist is not easy. Years ago when we first moved to San Antonio we went through a number of dentists - seems like all of them would get you strapped in the chair and since you were "captive" they would bombard you trying to "sell" you all kinds of services and things, or in the worst cases, tell you that you had some horrible dental problem that was going to require hundreds or thousands of dollars to fix. With Dr. Jones and his staff you dont have to worry about that - if they tell you you need something fixed you can trust them.

After 24 years you know were happy. Dr. Jones and his staff are professional, pleasant, and helpful. You are consulted and informed about any procedures that need to be preformed, and the work is done well. Some of the fillings hes done have lasted for almost the full 24 years weve had Dr. Jones as out dentist.
