The only reason this place is getting a 1 star is because you have to in order to submit one of these. My husband has been seen by them for his annual and semi annuals. During his first visit he was told his cholesterol was high, Dr. Senger agreed that he would adjust diet and exercise and then test 6 months later. 6 months came, my husband went in was down over 13 lbs. During the visit the nurse told him he was pre-hypertensive which he was told before so this visit he wanted to discuss with Dr. Nurse gave him EKG then herded him to the exam room. When Dr came in he asked my husband what he was experiencing with heaviness on heart and described it as nerves and offered to give him a referral to a psychiatrist. My husband laughed as that was absurd. There are plenty of people who need that kind of help. Then the Dr referred him to a Dr for his left ear and then a different one for his tag moles. When my husband mentioned his cholesterol and pre hypertension the Dr looked bothered (hello the reason for this follow up) He checked his blood pressure and stated it was fine, stated the EKG was fine and we would see the results of cholesterol blood test to see if he got better. Days later he got the call from a nurse who was relaying results. She stated the Dr said to continue his routine and his cholesterol was better. He asked what was the old number versus the new. This is when the nurse tripped up and had to transfer him. After being on hold for 20 minutes he had to hang up. He called back 3 times to get his scores. On the 3rd time he finally got a human being on the line. She informed him his cholesterol had actually gotten worse. When he questioned why the previous nurse would state differently when the numbers dont lie he was again transferred to a endless queue of death with no answer. He still has not been provided any prescriptions and we will be going in person today to sit and wait for answers. In the meantime we are looking for a different facility. We are also reporting them to the health providers.

Im always very happy with the level of service that I receive here. I used to see Dr. Smith regularly from about 1995 until about five or six years ago when I moved away. I came back and nothing has changed. I always get Barbara on the phone when I call to schedule or request prescription refills and she is so pleasant that even if theres a bit of a wait which is to be expected at a busy practice its quickly forgotten. Ive never had anyone tend to me rudely and Ive never had any problems with the front desk personnel. On the contrary, the last woman I spoke with when I went to retrieve a prescription had a full list of patients and without missing a beat, greeted me, and even though she was incredibly busy she stopped to quickly retrieve my prescription with a smile on her face, thanked me and told me to have a great day! I never wait more than three or four minutes on the phone and Im always seen promptly when I arrive at or a little before my appointment time. Dr.Mark Smith takes the time to discuss any pertinent issues and gives very thoughtful and insightful information when theres a decision to be made. Hes always taken the time to discuss the issues Ive had in the past with me very thoroughly. I will remain a patient for a very long time!

I have been here about 4 times. I started seeing Dr. Jose Sanchez about 9 months ago and didnt have issues at first. After awhile I noticed his procedure, in the way he cares for his patience, and realized he actually doesnt care about anything except to get you out of his patient room (and maybe ur money). He comes in fast and listens to what you say for a second. Then throws you some meds or passes you onto a specialist. If you actually see him for anything he cant get rid of u promply, he doesnt care. I went in for issues with my thyroid medicine which he placed me on (7 months ago) and have been dealing with huge hair loss since, I even showed him a picture (Synthroid has a side effect of hair loss). He told me I am a woman and it is hormones and followed it up with "Well then stop taking the thyroid medacine, your choice". He didnt care to try other meds or even do blood work. I have never been treated this way and walked out crying. I tried so hard to explain to him how much thicker my hair used to be and it didnt matter. He walked out of the room in the middle of my talking and the woman who works for him handed me a piece of paper to a dermatologist. I will never be back but I am sure they dont care.

If youre a working man/woman/human dont expect to get seen on time. They do not value their patients as human beings, we are only a number in their double booked schedules. Im talking specifically about the administration. They will charge you money if you are late or dont show up but they wont honor your time if they are an hour late. What a shame that our healthcare system has been empowered a place like McGregor medical in a way that allows them to easily make the patient a victim of this heinous social crime. Sadly the system is set up so that if I have to go looking for a new doctor Ill have to wait 3 months to get seen somewhere else. No Im not on Obama care. Im on a reputable health plan in a city with multiple medical centers and with one the 3rd largest industries being health care. While my copay keeps paying for the doctors brand new Maserati, Ill keep trying to get an appointment at a place that honors my time as I honor theirs. I would like to say that the only positive thing about this place is the fact that dr. Oliver is a very caring man has great rapport with his patients and genuinely seems like he cares about my well-being.

We have been patients of MacGregor for years. Before my daughter became an adult, she saw Dr Beck the pediatrician. He was great with kids, and she was a little sad that she couldnt continue to see him as an adult. We have tried going to other offices that were closer to our home, but trying to get an appointment combined with long wait times, has always had us coming back to MacGregor. Sure, during the peak flu season, you might have to wait longer, but even during that time, I have never had to wait longer than 30 minutes. Cant say that for another office I used to go to where the standard wait time was 2 hours (and it wasnt an urgent care). The fact that they have lab, and xray on site is much more convenient than having to go to another office to have blood drawn. What I like the most is if your primary doctor is completely booked, and you are really sick, you can see any other doctor in the office. When we first started going to the office, customer service was terrible. Now, I have not encountered a single difficult person. They have all been extremely friendly and nice. I guess if you go with a good attitude, you get a good attitude!
