I came here on emergency while I was visiting my boyfriends family in Bryson and had a pretty bad ATV accident where we hit a rut and I was thrown out of a side by side 4 seater ATV. I have a very rare tissue disease that causes all tissues in entire body (skin, joints, brain, organs, etc) to be extremely fragile. I am 33 Years old and have had 16 surgeries on various joints (some being multiples on same joint) so far with many more that are needed. Of course this causes me extreme pain every single day and I am on heavy doses of narcotics just to keep pain at a tolerable level. When I came into this ER, I was in excruciating pain, literally crying from it. The doctor knew the meds I took on a daily basis, therefore knew that my tolerance was very high. He also claimed to know about my disorder and how people w it dont absorb medications as much and well as others. However, the pain medications that he offered me were so low that they wouldve been barely enough to take the edge off of someone that doesnt take any pain meds!!!! The doctor I had was black, bald, heavy build and extremely rude. Showed zero compassion for the pain I was in!!! I finally ended up walking out of there, refusing a Norco that the doctor offered me because I was getting to be in more pain sitting in that hospital bed than I would be back at the house I was staying at!!! I couldnt believe it when I saw that the doctor gave me a prescription for Tylenol with Codeine!!!!! What in the heck did he think that was going to do for me when my medications are 100 times (if not more) stronger than that and werent helping me!!!! Needless to say I tore it up and threw it away! This was literally the worst ER I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of them!!! I thought ERs in California (especially the Bay Area which is where I live)were bad but this one is way worse than any in California Ive been to! I will never go back to this one ever again! If I ever have to go to ER again when Im there on our yearly trip, I will go to Jacksborough but never here again!!!! We were there for over 5 hours and they did absolutely nothing to help me!!!!! I really hope the executives of this hospital read these because they need to know how horrible their ER is!!!! Thanks to this doctor, our trip had to be cut short due to me being in such bad pain and needing to get home asap to see my doctors that would help me!!! This doctor has no business being a doctor because he shows zero compassion for patients, doesnt care how bad his patients are hurting after they have just been in a very bad ATV accident, doesnt do anything to help his patients and is overall just a very cocky rude man!!!!!

Literally killed a family member of ours and terrified our sick child who had never had an IV - the nurse jabbed at him recklessly with no warning (he was 5!!) and when he screamed and tried to pull away (like any 5 yr old would who had no idea what was going on) she nastily said "Well great now you just went and gave yourself a hematoma!" Really?? Pretty worthless hospital. Especially for what it costs this town in taxes too! Drive anywhere but here - Cooks is top notch for kids!!

I had chest xrays taken yesterday. Today upon calling for my results I was informed they were lost. Being admitted into the hospital depends solely on those result as I have pneumonia. There is not a more unprofessional hospital out there. I am furious!
