The first experience was with my 1 year old son, he had several diarrhea, vomiting, and a extremely high fever. They gave his some Motrin and said to go home. So we did that and he got worse! We called his doctor and they said to take him to the Methodist childrens hospital. We did that and he was dehydrated, and very ill. The doctor and the admitting receptionist were horrible! they were so rude and it took so long to get in. It is an Emergency for a reason!!! My second experience was with me. I had sliced my finger open and hit almost to the bone. It was gushing and we couldnt stop the bleeding. The admitting receptionist still made me fill out paper work and I waited at least 1 1/2 hours before getting in. Then when I got in the nurse tried to rip my gauze off that was suck to the cut! When I finally saw the doctor, he said the shot wouldnt hurt that bad. I go the shot and it was horrible, he started to stitch me up but i could still feel!! He stopped and said nothing, he grabbed more medicine and without telling me or saying one word stuck the needle into my wound!!! It was the worse pain!! The medicine wasnt even going into me, because my hand was so swollen and it just made more blood and medicine gush out. When he did start stitching me he left a piece of meat out and still continued to stitch, i asked him if was okay to be like that and he said i would be fine. Not to mention when I was waiting to get in, there was a man behind me with a swollen face bleeding from his eye, nose, and cheek, they made him wait and fill out paper work and he waited longer than me to be seen. The nurses get in no rush what so ever. When I walked back to get seen, there was at least 8 nurses and 2 doctors sitting at the nurses station talking and not in any rush. DO NOT GO HERE!! YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING TO A REAL HOSPITAL IN SAN ANTONIO!!!!

I was just in hospital had a 5 hour surgery on 20th on 22 they removed Foley I tried to walk and did up and down 2 hallways then ask for a shower with help ... after shower around 3 pm they said by the way you are discharged now to go home .... it was the weekend ..i had nothing set up like home health or nurse to change my wounds etc... I was in shock no supplies and I live alone ...and my pain meds did not work to keep the horrible pain I am feeling at bay ... I have never been kicked out of a hospital so fast in my life after a 5 hour surgery....they dont have a heart and should not be open ...i will never go back there ever again..

Absolutely the worst experience by far. After a total knee replacement my mother has been in constant pain since day one after surgery. They give me the run around when trying to fill her meds and while in the hospital in Pleasanton the nursing staff were not goving her the meds prescribed and giving half doses with the other half just disappearing. I need to find out who their medical director is and see what can be done so no one else.will ever have to endure this much pain and get no help..........Totaly pissed off right now hope I can get something done. Anyone got advice what I can do or who I can call

They dont even deserve a star. They always tell you its a uti or just stress when they havent even done test!! Honestly i was going with belly pains for months and they never did anytime went to a specialist to find out my goblatter was so scarred and swollen my 15 min surgery took 4 hours.. seriously the worst hospital ever.

I would never go unless you have no other choice they look at you say your fine and give pain meds... then they call to see if your better and you say your not they say nothing... they should at least offer to do another exam as a follow up.. But they dont care about anyone.....

Wow I have never been to a more incompetent place. Actually had to shake my head in disbelief at how poor the service was. I hope I never have to come back to this place again!
