Received a consult from the San Antonio Treatment Center to obain a psychological assessment from the CHCS at 806 S. Zarzamora. Tried to contact the facility to get more information regarding business hours, procedures, and required documentation. However, no one answers the central number, and it automatically goes to a general voice message inbox, of which no one cares to check and conduct follow ups. Basically, there is no way to contact the center without physically going there. So, I take it upon myself to go there in person. The place opens at 7:30 AM M-F. Unfortunately, if you are a new patient, you must place yourself on a waiting list, and the center only has an extremely limited amount of available slots. I placed my name on the waiting list and waited for four hours before finally going up to the appointment desk only to find out that I didnt make the cut for one of the slots. The system this center has is very disorganized. If people on the waiting list dont make the cut for one of the available slots, the appointment clerk should notify everyone on the waiting list, so theyre not wasting their entire day just sitting around for nothing. I work, and time is money. So, I cannot afford to lose time off work to play these silly games. Now I know why so many drug addicts relapse, because the system we taxpayers are supporting has failed them, discouraging them and making them lose all hope with getting help. Someone really needs to reevaluate the way this center is managed and revamp its processes; totally disappointed.

Waited four hours just to be told Im not qualified for services. The person asking me questions talked more about her son than trying to figure what was going on. You will get better service from Wal-Mart then this place. They need better workers that give a dam.

Terrible at first they were good in answering calls to set up an appointment now they dont even get a return call and to get a prescription refilled they have.a fax request which they cant even get to on time still waiting this is the fifth day
