Ive been bringing my daughter here since she was a couple of months old (Dr. Guerra saw her while she was in NICU). Because its pretty hard to get an appt with him, my daughter has seen nearly every doctor at this branch and also the nurse practitioner. I cant say enough good things about them. Like any doctor, they sometimes seem rushed, especially during cold/flu season- apparently this is why its so hard to get appts, because they block off certain times of day for walk-ins and urgent care. Weve seen Dr. Guerra, Dr. Simone, Dr. Basey, Dr. Arnold and Ms. Wheeler, who were all very friendly and more importantly very good with my child. Not once has she fussed or whined when going. And unlike at my doctor, here there is always time to ask questions. The front office employees are sort of hit-or-miss. Some are great, some are impatient. But since we dont deal with them except to sign in, its not a problem. Ive brought my daughter for urgent care twice, once at the Stone Oak location on a Saturday and once at Schertz. Each time there was no extensive wait (to my complete shock). I like that there is a "well" side and a "sick" side, too. There are no toys in the office, but personally I like that because theres never a guarantee that toys are disinfected thoroughly each day. ABCD is great, and I plan on taking my daughter here as long as we live here.

I dont know when the last time they have had office training but the incompetence is ridiculous. It used to be a great place to take you child but now the staff has bad attitudes and their work is half-a$$ed. Ive been trying to get my sons medication for a month (not exaggerating) now and to this day still dont have it. Between scheduling the wrong kind of visits, to not following up on his prescription to my insurances pharmacy, over a week passed and then when they sent it in, it wasnt the correct information! For some reason they wont call your insurance company and they dont return calls to them either. My insurance company has tried to contact them 4 times. Its also hard to get someone on the phone, every single time I need to ask whats going on with my sons meds, I have to drive down to the office and they still dont get it right. It shouldnt be this hard. Finding a new doctor as soon as they get this prescription right.

Taking male genital mutilation and making jokes about it using the Elf on the Shelf? Really not anywhere Id trust taking my kids. The majority of the world does NOT circumcise infant boys. Just America and Israel. In Finland, the rate is 0%, and their rate of men ending up circumcised is 0.0016% (thats 1 in every 16,667). Oh, and their pediatric health outcomes make a mockery of ours, so... So boasting in such a sleazy way that you still perform archaic, barbaric child torture procedures that deprive men of natural sex, on infants who are perfectly healthy, is SICK. Check yourselves. Amputaion: for last resorts.

About a year ago, my ex was diagnosed with meningitis which threw me into a panic because he and I have shared custody and I was scared my daughter could have caught it. Though our first appointment was in Stone Oak, the Schertz office is so much more convenient and its our go-to now. Ive had pleasant experiences with the staff and Dr. Hood is awesome. She takes the time to answer my questions, even if Im just being paranoid, shes patient with me and my daughter. I love that this is right down the street, too!

Just moved to the area and my child got sick before I could established a new doctor. I ask a few parents from school. They recommended ABCD. When called and explained my situation. I was told to fill out something online. I was told once I did this they they could schedule an appointment for the next day. I should mention i told them my child had been running 102 for three days. When called the next day I was told I have to wait 4-5 days. Plus the person on the phone was extremely rude.

I have been going to abcd pediatrics for 5 years now they have great doctors my favorite is doctor hood she is amazing loving and caring my little ones got rsv this year and I had no idea what was going on and what to do she guided me helped me get through this. my newborn ended up geting it she had the abulance and hospital moving to help me. Ill be forever grateful with her and staff at abcd pediatrics in schertz Thank you and God bless

Staff has always been polite and professional! We love Dr. Simone!!! She is hilarious keep the kiddos at ease and always laughing! Shes very caring and always making sure our kids receive the best care; taking time to research to better assist if needed... Shes awesome and I trust to recommend her to anyone for their childs healthcare needs:) I have three that see her youngest 6 mo and she has him smiling too!!!

Horrible HORRIBLE staff. They just treat you like a number, and not a person. The front desk is rude and condescending. All they care about is getting your insurance card and payment. Not even a hello or thanks! Also, takes for forever to get through on the phone. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because once you actually get into the Doctors they are wonderful.

I love love love this clinic. I have three children and one is severely autistic. The staff is always pleasant, helpful and patient. I have been taking my children here since it opened. I recommend Dr. Simone if you have a child with special needs. She has such a great positive attitude and has helped my son so much :) .

whom ever runs their Facebook page thought it would be funny to post an elf on the shelf strapped down on a board about to get circumcised. It was disgusting and unprofessional. After a few hours and a few hundred pissed off parents they deleted the post and disabled reviews. And blocked anyone with opposing views.

I am disappointed in Suzanne E. Hood. You ask her simple questions about how to deal with this or that concerning your child and her answers are " I do not know... try this" What does she mean "Try"? My child is not a test subject. We showed up with congested nose and she couldnt even help with this..

Ive had nothing but pleasant experiences here. Docs always treat my kiddo very well. A couple of times Ive been called back a bit after my scheduled appointment (which is to be expected) but generally a smooth running operation.
