I am new to The Woodlands area. I made a concerted effort in January of 2017 to land a primary care physician near me and was recommended to Agape Physicians -- in particular, Dr. Bigler. I was told by his receptionist that there was a considerable wait for New Patient openings. I was comfortable waiting three months until April when I was able to schedule as I merely wanted to land a new general physician and get a physical. I was contacted the afternoon before my appointment and told that I was mistakenly scheduled on Good Friday and the office would be closed.She went on to explain that it would be an additional three month wait. This annoyed me slightly. The secretary seemed busy and disinterested. She attempted to schedule me with the PA multiple times in lieu of Dr. Bigler for blood work. I explained to her that the only reason I was getting the physical was because I was hoping to meet and land a new primary care physician -- at this point I asked her to recommend other practices in the area that had more flexible schedules. Following this discussion she was able to fit me in two weeks later. Unfortunately, I was sent out of the country for business and called to cancel and reschedule my appointment. I was sent to voicemail. I have attempted to call back multiple times since (during office hours) and have reached out to other physicians in the same practice to make an earlier appointment and have not been able to reach any of them despite leaving multiple voicemails. It has been exceedingly difficult to schedule and/or reschedule appointments and Ive decided to try another practice slightly further from my home. I hope other people have an easier time scheduling appointments. It was an underwhelming and disappointing experience for me personally. I would have to agree with Zronkays post below.

Long waits after arriving for a scheduled appointment time. Today, Wed., 08/08/2017, at 09:15am I had a scheduled appointment with medical assistant by the name of "Stacy". I arrived at 09:00 am and checked in at the front desk. At 09:35 am I asked the receptionist at the front desk what the problem was. She said "Stacy" will be with you in a few minutes. At 10:01 am I told the receptionist that I was not waiting any longer and left the office. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Bigler. He has always kept his scheduled appointment on time or within 5 minutes. He is also the best doctor I have every met. I would guess he is not aware of Stacys behaviors. Mr. Linder

Ive been going to see Dr. Bigler for about 8 years. Hes very compassionate and I trust him to provide me with the best health care. Some of my health issues have been pretty challenging but Dr. Bigler has always given me the best advice and through the years hes helped me get healthier and keep on track with my diet and exercise goals. Ive never had to wait more than a day to see him when Ive had urgent issues come up. Once or twice hes made time for me within an hour or two of when I called. I highly recommend Dr. Bigler to all my friends in The Woodlands area

If you get to see Dr. Bigler, then you are good. He is by far one of the most kindest and professional doctors I have ever met. His office staff, however, are rude, inattentive and are completely apathetic to anyone who is a patient. Pevelka is beyond rude and treats you like a drug addict for even asking for a prescription for anti-inflammatory medication. If Dr. Bigler had a better staff and more caring people under him, this would easily be a 5 star place

Dr. Bigler is my familys doctor. In todays environment, it is so common for a physician to rush thru patients and not give them proper attention. Dr. Bigler is just the opposite. He has such a fantastic demeanor and bedside manner and it is very apparent that treating his patients is not just his profession -- its his calling. I cant recommend Dr. Bigler enough. He is a wonderful doctor and just such a great guy. Thanks, Doc, for what you do!

I have nothing but positive things to say about this Group. I have been a patient here for about four years. I have never seen Dr Bigler, only B. Besong and S. Pavelka and they are both great. The wait times are not that long and making an appointment is never a problem. The nurses typically respond to voicemails quickly, which typically not the case. They are also a faith based practice which I appreciate.

We have always valued the time and attention given by Dr. Bigler and his staff and are thankful for the knowledge and professionalism demonstrated by everyone in this office. In this age of insurance pressure on the entire health industry, I have found the new norm is long waits and rushed appointments. I am pleased to say my experience with Dr. Biglers office has not felt anything like that. I have -and will continue- to recommend Dr. Bigler to friends and family looking for a family physician.

These guys have stitched me up a few times. They are always kind, considerate, and professional. Dr. Bigler put 5 stitches in my forehead a couple years back, I thought the scar would be horrible, 2 years later its barely noticeable. He truly cares for his patients health and well-being.
