I went to Windrose Family Medicine for my annual physical. This was a first time appointment, switching from my doctor of over 20 years because he had converted his practice to concierge and was no longer on my plan. Maybe I had become spoiled by the level service I had experienced at Augusta Family Medicine over the years or maybe the practice of medicine has fallen off badly, but I was very disappointed by the lack of depth provided within my physical exam at Windrose . Started off pretty normally. Got my weight, asked my height, measured my heart rate and blood pressure. The doctor then came in, asked me a few questions about vaccinations and colonoscopies, looked in my ears and mouth, had me breath deep to listen to my lungs and listened to my heart. Then I was sent to have my blood drawn for labs. After the blood draw I went back to the front desk thinking I was supposed to go to another room to have my physical completed, but I was told that was it. As I said, maybe Im spoiled but no EKG, no check of my reflexes or even one single question about any possible issues I might be having. I was never even asked to remove any piece of clothing for a visual check of the skin and nails or any other more in depth check up as I had become accustomed to expect as part of my annual. If hello, goodbye, go get your blood drawn is the norm now that is pretty sad. If so, then take this review as one of family practices in general but I have only my own experiences to draw from.

This is quite literally the worst Dr. office Ive ever not been in contact with. I say "not in contact with" because for the last three days Ive been calling trying to speak to any alive human being with absolutely zero success. Their online scheduling is down so you have to call the office, but no one has ever answered the phone. At a certain point, I kept calling out of sheer curiosity to see how long they could actually go without answering a freaking phone. Well you win, Windrose Family Medicine. I give up, and anyone thinking of going to this place and seeing Dr. Pondt should seriously reconsider. I wouldnt trust someone with my health who cant be bothered to pick up a phone. Also these 5 star reviews below are clearly friends of the doctor. Nice try.

Im new to this area and I wanted to make sure that my family doctor was a good doctor for my son and I. Dr. Pondt is amazing. her staff are very nice professional and personable. Yes you may have to call a couple of times to get through but hey she is a good doctor and thats what happens when we let the government take over healthcare and doctors cant afford to pay their staff because of cuts and contract rates so they are understaffed and its happening across the board for the medical sector. I wouldnt rate this office as low because of something that they honestly have no control over. So if youre looking for a good doctor she would be a great choice.

Dont waste your time going to this facility. The business office is uneducated and will over charge. It was a nightmare trying to get in touch with someone at the business office. I tried over 4 months to get a wrongful charge and NO one got in touch with me. I was told by some of the office staff that the business manager has many complaints against her. When I finally got in touch after 4 months, she said by HIPPA law she is unable to leave me a message. I told her she cant leave details but she can leave a message asking me to call her back. My entire family (5+patients) have taken our business elsewhere. Completely unprofessional.

Good luck actually talking to someone on the phone for a simple question, waited 20 minutes on hold to see if I could have a TB test done only to be hung up on. Called back and sent to a different center only to be told they were on their lunch break. Highly unprofessional. Also, if you ask any questions your "physical exam" turns into a doctors appointment. This place is an absolute joke, poor management, poor doctor quality, I could go on and on. Find another place.

If I could rate them a zero, I would. I had to switch drs because of insurance and went to see then for referrals. I was told by them that my back injury Ive been dealing with since 2010 was a "pulled muscle" even after reviewing my back surgeon and pain drs notes. And multiple back surgeries. And it has taken me 3 weeks to try to get another referral with still no luck. In hold for an hour just for them to hang up. Poor business and bad drs. So glad I am changing drs

No one answers the phone and calls roll into voicemail and those messages arent returned. It took months to get a surgeon referral, one piece of paper faxed. now Dr refuses a refill on blood pressure med the week of major surgery, no warning, no notice, no Bp reading, no consultation, for no reason. Staff doesnt appear to know even the basics of office procedures and Doctor is just plain bad. Dont use this medical center.

I dont know who some of the other reviewers were seeing, but it certainly was not Windrose Family Practice. My family has been seeing Dr. Pondt for years and she is fantastic. She is always attentive and knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen and talk with you because she cares about you and your health. Her staff is personable, professional and helpful. I recommend them to everyone.

Be sure not to ask any questions when getting a physical. Turns it into a dr visit and not a physical which I ended up being charged for. Never coming here again. Pointing to a sign on the door after youve answered my questions isnt very helpful. A disclaimer when arriving would be better. Hope the $80 bucks was worth it. Lost a patient today.

I agree with all the ZocDoc reviews that say Dr. Mukherjee was very personable and took his time to listen and understand my concerns and needs. He explained my options and his philosophy for the most effective client/physician relationship. I felt comfortable and am happy to finally have found a primary care physician.

Ive been going to both Dr. Pondt and Dr. Mukherjee for the past two years now. They have always been very helpful in regards to health. Not just my physical health though - they are wonderful to be around. Both Dr. Mukherjee and Dr. Pondt deserve every bit of five stars for their phenomenal service to this community.

I had a great experience with Dr. Pondt here, she really listened to what was going on and figured out the most effective treatment for me. Receptionist was nice and straightforward as well. I dont understand the negative reviews, my sister and I have both had good experiences here.
