I noticed that dr brown responded to this by stating that I was not a patient. My minor son was a patient. I would like to add that my issues with this practice included dr brown being unable to recall his name during sessions, pushing additional medications on my child. Ignoring my concerns, especially when the medications caused physical side effects, insisting that he remain on them. Her staff turned over too often and her hours were anyones guess. Between her and her staff, a prior authorization could not be properly completed for my insurance company. It took months to sort out, in the end we had to change psychiatrists to get his medication paperwork filed with our insurance. We paid over $200 a month for my sons medication (initially prescribed by a therapist that retired) out of pocket due to the errors of this office. They do nickel and dime you, and while their practice may have changed in notifying patients prior to scheduling appointments, this was not the case when my son was a patient. The complaints go on. This practice was a mess and we got out as soon as we were able to. It is infuriating though that dr brown would go so far as to lie to dodge a negative review. Since leaving this practice I have heard many negative things about Dr brown from her colleagues in the woodlands and conroe areas. That should speak for itself.

Ive seen Dr. Brown from the beginning of my ADHD. Being a patient of Dr. Dawn Brown has significantly improved my life. After spending the first half of my life living with ADHD and not knowing it I had felt that I was just not capable of being responsible enough to assume a serious or important role in anything. I never felt capable of achieving goals that could highly benefit my life. Dr. Brown was able to effectively evaluate my situation and has been able to offer me sufficient solutions. Im finally feeling like Im moving and growing and confident and I value that more than most things. For that, I appreciate Dr. Brown and the ADHD Wellness Center!

Does not accept insurance and charges $325 for initial consultation which does not include writing a prescription. Told me after she received my records from my former doctor, I would have to make a "medication management" appointment for $150 so she could prescribe the medication! Also charged me to copy my records and then refused to provide them to me! Dr. responded to my questions with quotes of her "office policy". I decided to seek treatment from my primary care doctor instead off being subjected to inflated charges and responses quoting "office policy" to justify overcharging!

Dr. Brown and her staff is extremely professional and i was reluctant to visit her at first but am very glad i did and took the initiative to. Dr. Brown is very kind and in no way made me feel uncomfortable throughout the visit and based on my 2 visits with her, will continue to see her and would definitely recommend my friends and family to her as well. Keep up the great work Doc!!!!
