I scheduled an appointment today at 10:45, I was there at 10:40. After filling out paperwork, at 11:05 I was already inside the room, with a nurse, that took my blood pressure and temperature. She left after 3 minutes saying: the doctor will be here soon. That was not even 11:10. I heard the nurse mentioning my name to the doctor 20 minutes after that. I keept waiting and nothing. Then, at 11:45 I start hearing people cheating - including who I realize later was mr. Rafati chating, laughing. I heard him saying that he had a good joke for someone else - unfortunately, behind the door I couldnt hear the joke, I wanted to laugh as welol. At 12:15 I left the room, he was standing outside and told me: I will be with you right now. I said," no thank you, its been 50 minutes that I am waiting for you, 1h30min that I am here". He said, wait 10 seconds and I will be with you. No, thank you. You know, if he was busy with patients off course I would understand and wait patiently, but talking with the staff for 30 minutes while you have a patient inside the room waiting for you its just completely unacceptable. It shows lack of respect Not only to the patient but also to the profession. You should remember mr. Rafati, nobody go to see a doctor because they just want to, they need professional medical care, and what you showed today was just unprofessional behavior. I was so upset when I left that I regret not saying this to you, I missed an opportunity of teaching you something: the basic for every relationship is respect, thinking that your patients are suppose to wait for you doesnt matter what you are doing is the opposite of it. I regret not saying this to you the moment I left your office.

I have been going to this office for care for the past year, and after trying to stick it out, have decided to look elsewhere. My first complaint is with regard to wait times and scheduling. I have had to wait for forty-five minutes to an hour before being taken to the examination room, and then wait for 15-20 minutes for Dr. Rafati to see me. I understand that physicians offices are very busy, and that they often will organize appointments to account for no-shows, but I have had appointments first thing in the morning, twice when I was the first one there. In cases where wait times are unavoidable, it would be nice to be informed of wait times, or receive an apology for being so tardy. When communicating my concerns to Dr. Rafati, I feel that he responds in such a way as to make me feel foolish. I frequently feel like he is trying to make sure that he understands much more than I do, to the point where he questions the validity of the existence of some of my symptoms and experiences. I openly acknowledge this is my opinion, but it has been my experience and is the second major factor in my decision. I would not recommend Dr. Rafati to anyone. I hope that you find this review helpful. Even though he has lost my business, I honestly hope that the other patrons of Dr. Rafatis office have not had the same negative experience.

Having recently moved to the area from the Rio Grande Valley, we had not had a chance to "interview" family doctors. I developed an allergic reaction and called Dr Rafatis office on a Monday morning, they took me in that afternoon at 4:00. I got there early to fill out paperwork and they called me in around 4:20. Dr. Rafati is a younger Doctor yet I was pleased with the visit and his prescribing of medications was spot on as the reaction went away within a few days of applying cream and taking steroids. My wife and I are definitely having Dr. Rafati as our family doctor going forward. Great staff, close to home and Great Doctor. Highly recommended. Dave, Lydia and Darien Gracia

I have been a patient of Dr. Rafati for the past seven years and have always been very satisfied. I have had a few complex health issues and Dr. Rafati has always come through. Dr. Rafati and his staff are always very through in their examinations and Dr. Rafati spends as much time with me as it takes to get to the bottom of diagnosing whatever is going on. From lab work to sending me out for MRI or to a specialist Dr. Rafati does things right.

He masters the skill of providing his undivided attention to his patients by asking questions, listening, and understanding. Dr. Rafati appears to be a very good doctor. His "bedside" manner is very cheerful & seems to honestly care for his patients. His staff is very helpful & is full of smiles. I wish that we did not have to wait as long as we do in the waiting room & the examining room, but we patients are always "impatient" patients!!!!!! Thanks To All the Staff & Doctor Rafati...

Dr. Rafati is a wonderful doctor. His staff is always very nice, efficient and friendly. Ive been going the Dr. Rafati since before his new location opened. I am on Medicare and pay my provider an additional $31.60 monthly to be able to see him. He and his staff have helped me get through a couple of health issues with compassion. Thank you.

Dr. Rafati is an excellent physician who treats you like a person instead of just another patient. He always takes the time to listen, answer questions and respond to your concerns. His clinic is patient oriented and not run like an assembly line as many clinics are. I would recommend Dr. Rafati to anyone looking for good health care.
