Ive been going to Eye Trends for the past 3 years and it has been a fantastic experience each time. Ive never met people who were so patient and knowledgeable and made the entire experience painless. When I called, I was greeted very professionally and was able to schedule an appointment right away. When I went in, I was seen immediately and the assistant was extremely helpful and he was able to conduct the tests quickly and diligently. I was very impressed. Then my doctor, Dr. Lauren Tom, was friendly and thorough and helped me get the correct fit for my contacts, which isn’t always an easy task due to my vision problems. She was also able to answer any questions I had regarding any future conditions and any symptoms I should look out for. Everyone at this location was a pleasure to do business with and they conducted themselves professionally and got me processed in and out without any feeling of being rushed. They work as a team and it shows.

Horrible service. Told the doctor I could not wear a certain brand of contacts several times. The brand I have trouble with and told him about is what he prescribed me. The tech doing the prescreens needed more training. She had to redo every testing at least once. When ordering my contacts I made sure to ask if it was the correct brand they were ordering me more than once. She assurred me it was. When the contacts came in, not only was it the wrong brand but only half of my order and only one eyes contacts were ordered. The lady assurred me she would correct this mistake and put a rush order on the correct prescription, seeing as this order took almost 3 weeks to fill. There was no rush to the correct order, recieved the correct order in twice the amount of time she had promised.

First off, the service getting my eyes tested and then fitted for contacts was good. They have a lot of high tech tools. The Dr. was GREAT, very through - professional. No complaints. My only criticism is that they have less than stellar customer service on the backend. Just trying calling the office and to talk to someone about ordering contacts. Good luck. They evidently only answer phone calls from folks scheduling an appointment. I called and left a message noting that I would like to order contacts. I left my phone number and name. Did I get a phone call back? Nope. So in conclusion, this is a good place to get your eye prescriptions, not so good at getting your contacts or glasses ordered.

Been going here for years, although the last time I went I was highly disappointed. I was seen by a different doctor than usual and he didnt know what he was doing. After my eye exam, I put my new prescription of contacts in my eyes and it was very clear to me that the prescription was incorrect, I couldnt see a thing.... and I looked at the strength of the contacts he prescribed and they were WEAKER than the ones I had been wearing. I tried to explain this to him, but he insisted my eyes just needed time to adjust.... after a month of squinting and getting headaches I just went back to wearing my old contacts.... the ones I could actually see in....

Worst place ever! After waiting over a month they gave me the wrong prescription, and told me it was right that my eyes needed a week or so to adjust. I went back the next day because i could tell something was wrong. I was treated like I was crazy. I insisted on seeing a doctor and was told that the first doctor made a mistake. Every time you talk to these people your told well call you when your order comes in. I have never once received a call back. By far one of the worst customer service experiences i have ever had. The whole staff needs training. There is one nice young guy at the front he looks frustrated with the place!

Went in for first ever eye exam. My fault I didnt have my insurance card with me, they told me to go ahead and pay for it then call my insurance info in later and they would reinburse me. I called info in, they told me it would take two to three weeks and they would call me when the insurance paid so they could reinburse me my money. This happen twice, never heard from them. Come to find out they never called it in at all. Two other times they were suppose to call when lenses came in, they never called me I had to go to the store a week or two after their "it will take two weeks" to find out "sorry no one called you".

My family and I have been going here for years. They are friendly and professional. I like how they will text or call you before an appointment to remind you and you can schedule your appointments online. I have had to transfer prescriptions from the Sawdust location to other businesses and all went smoothly. They have a wide variety of frames available and are really good about providing a spare set of contact lens when you lose yours. The waiting rooms are comfortable and theres a kids area where they play Disney movies while you wait. Overall its the best place for me and my family to go to for our eye care.

I am giving them one star because that is the worst the program will allow. We have been customers at this location since 1992. On the last trip my husband paid cash for trifocal glasses and an exam. The glasses were supposed to be ready in two weeks. After three weeks he went to see about them. After a two hour wait, the glasses were offered, but he could not see a thing out of them. He was told he would have to see the MD again, and to take the glasses to "get use to them" Now we will be fighting to get our money back!

Horrible experience. I waited 2-1/2 hours to see the optometrist and then another 40 mins to order new lenses. I even showed up 15 mins early for my appointment. Customer service was ridiculous and no one had compassion for the amount of time i spent waiting. I actually watched 4 people walk out because of the wait and lack of service they were receiving. The girl up front couldnt even answer a simple question about my exam. This office has some severe internal communication issues. I do not recommend going there.

If your looking for a nice pair of glasses, nice price and amazing service-go to eye trends on Sawdust. The entire staff is extremely helpful and nice. I had the pleasure of working with CHRISTY MERRYFIELD. We first spoke over the phone with questions I had and she called me right back with a answer. I went in and her cheerful, helpful spirit was just as pleasant as it was over the phone. She took no time to take care of me and my needs. She definitely made my day and I will be seeing her again for my next pair.

If you are having a problem with your eyes, go see Dr Toups. He is outstanding. Extremely thorough and wonderful person. He personally called me twice to check and see how the medication was working. Doctors just dont do that anymore. He knew I was scared about the Iritus. Losing your sight is something he will do his best to keep from happening. I wish people would think twice before writing a bad review. There are always hang ups when buying glasses. Get over it. Medical eye care here is phenomenal!
