I would not recommend Anderson Vision Center to anyone. My initial visit, I was put off by Dr. Anderson going into his political views and telling me that China was taking over, but I dismissed it and let him continue. His eye exam was very thorough and though he continued to talk about off topic items I appreciated all the eye info he did give. I selected my glasses and was told It would take about a week. A week later I called and I was told my glasses were not ready due to the lab but maybe they would be ready the next day. I called 2 days later and was told they were in the finishing stages and I might be able to get them by Friday but if not, it would be Monday. The office staff seemed annoyed and were very short with me each time I called to inquire. I called that following Monday, 2 weeks after my exam, and was told very curtly they were not in and I would be called when they were. They came in later that day. I set up an appointment to get fitted for my contacts. Today I went in for that appointment. I was asked to do another eye test and another glaucoma test. Dr. Anderson then rechecked my vision and seemed delighted my eyes had not changed. It had been 2 1/2 weeks since he last checked. I made it clear to all the staff that I wanted to leave that day with my prescription so I could order my contacts through my trusted, online provider. Dr. Anderson said he did not have a trial pair that I could use and he would need to order those, which would take a week, then I would have to come in again and get my eyes checked again and then I could have my prescription. I questioned all of this. Having been wearing contacts for 14 + years I have never encountered this. He went into a lot of detail that I did not understand and when I asked him what my actual prescription was, he said he could not release that to me. I spoke of my concerns again about how I was told a week last time and it took twice that. One of his front office staff then came in and both of them talked over me to tell me how my insurance was to blame and that it is not their job to inform me of this. I told them that I would not continue to use their services and Dr. Anderson then told me other doctors would not treat me because I was abusing myself by wearing my contacts for more than 14 days. I left in tears and now I am screwed on getting contacts since they already filed to my insurance. I will have to pay full price for a contact exam now. Thank you for nothing Anderson Vision Center.

I have been going to Dr. Anderson since I was a Freshman in high school at Judson. back then, his office was by the now-closed Albertsons. His professionalism is top-notch. He is pleasant to be around, has a soft voice, and a voice of concern. Hes not there to make a buck off selling you crap. Hes there because he cares about your vision. Every question I have ever asked, hes had an answer for. Every appointment, he lets me know how my vision is doing in the long term. he is very kind, very patient and an overall amazing eye doctor. 13 years later, I am still going for my annual check up. You cant beat the level of service and committment from him. Last, but not least... the staff is helpful and pleasant to work with. They are better than any staff at any big box vision center. I will keep going to this office forever.

Dr. Anderson is soft spoken and genuinely concerned with the person in front of him and any and all eye concerns. He accepts the Tricare retired insurance, so we see him once every two years. His staff is helpful and friendly and will offer for you to look through their glasses they have but they are not pushy at all. I found they are very reasonable and will give you discounts to make it affordable. My kids really like it here. My daughter had a bad experience elsewhere so we will stick with this office and Dr. Anderson. They are professional, courteous and caring!

The doctor and staff here were great! I got a same-day appointment. I had to take my 11-week-old son with me and everyone was super patient about that. Dr. Anderson was very thorough in his exam and gave me a TON of information on eye health, good practices, etc. Ill be going back here as long as Im in town.
